The actual amount spent since Russia's invasion in Feb 2022 and Oct 2024 is $68 billion. There is more approved by both votes in the House and Senate Republicans and Dems and authourized in various bills that has not been allocated nor spent.
IF the US had given $300 billion, that would be 4x the amount spent so far by USA and 4x the amount spent by the European Union.
