Favourite hot sauces?

I saw Da Bomb "The Final Answer" at a store which specializes in hot sauces with their "Wall of Flame"!!

It peaked my interest when I saw the price tag.. $69.99

I checked it out and it measures at about 1500000 scoville units (1.5 million!!!)... the habanero pepper, the hottest pepper in the world is only about 300000 scoville units --- check out the reviews! http://www.hotsaucecatalog.com/hs1500.html

I think if I bought it, chances are as much as I love hot sauces, it would be a waste of money. I like hot sauces for the combination of heat and great flavour. One is not good without the other.

Anyway, when I was there I decided to try a couple new sauces.

1) Hot Chocolate.. made with chocolate habaneros. It has some bite, it is hot, I would say it is a 7 out of 10 for hotness and has some good flavour. I will enjoy this bottle! http://www.oceanwinds.us/ow.html

2) Mountain Man Fire Roasted Habanero Sauce. I thought it sounded like it would be a great sauce. It has no preservatives and a good appearance, looks nice and thick with seeds and pepper particles. I think it will taste similar to Denzel's... we will find out soon! http://store.yahoo.com/hotsaucecatalog/hs1868.html

Tabasco came out with a Chipotle Sauce that's about the same heat as regular Tabasco but is made the chipotles which are smoked/dried jalapenos. Nice flavor.

Sounds interesting I will have to write that down and check it out. What all would you recommend I use it on. Is it good on chicken, potatoes in scrambled eggs etc...?

I don't eat meat or eggs so I can't tell you what it is like on those. I put it in chili, on veggie burgers, in salsa to punch up the heat and flavor. Add it to black beans and salsa - roll that up in a tortilla with chopped tomato and lettuce for a quick meal. Adds a nice flavor to bean soups. Use it anywhere you would use any other hot sauce.
