My all time favorite, other than Roger Ramjet, was the original Johnny Quest. It had such a great spooky atmosphere, and unlike todays cartoons, people were getting killed in the show. Plus the theme music was awesome.

I just picked up season one of Night Court on DVD. And I wish they'd put back on Transformers and He-Man. But I'm sure those are on DVD as well.
Forgot all about Night Court. Man did I ever have a thing for Markie Post!

I think my first TV crush would have been Daisy from The Dukes of Hazzard, but around the same time was Heather Locklear when she was in The Fall Guy. I almost forgot about The Fall Guy. Lee Majors from The Six Million Dollar Man starred in it as well. They were stunt people. The theme song was a catchy cowboyish kinda song.
Thanks now I can't get that damn song outta my head! Bein' a Cowboy an all , I always kinda liked that show and song...

As many might know this cowboy loves game shows, any one remember the Canadian late 70s classic "The Mad Dash" it was my favorite!

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (very cheesy monsters and such but this show still rocked!)

Lost in Space (that prissy Dr. Smith was a hoot!)

SCTV (anybody see their version of Midnight Cowboy...Dr. Tongue as Joe Buck and Igor as Rizzo Ratzo .. hilarious...)

Flintstones...I've probably seen them all about a dozen times for sure... watched it all through elementary at home at lunch...Wilma and Betty were babes, no?

the old Spiderman 60s cartoon.... I love the line in the theme song "..is he strong?.. listen bud....he's got radioactive blood....hahaha
3 shows.........All in the Family, Sanford and Son and The Jeffersons!!!! they are back on TV and those are funny shows!!!!

Ok while we're on the subject of HR puffin stuff, anyone remember Liddsville ? With the dearly departed queen of the 70's and eternaly funny Charles Nelson Riley. I"m certain shows like this had impact on the Cowboy's twisted sense of humour. Here's a clip to refresh your memories, with what is quite possibly the longest show opening every, right when you think it's over yet another verse!

I was big on the scifi stuff...like Space 1999, Voyage to the bottom of the sea, six million dollar man, etc. Comedies...like above...I liked the Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, Chico and the man, Get Smart, etc.

Or on the same line...HR Puf'n'stuff was part of the Kroft package of Saturday morning shows...does anyone remember the others "Land of the Lost", "Dr Shrinker", "Way Out Space Nuts"...and my favorite "Electra Woman and Dyna Girl"...which starred a young and new on the scene...Diedre Hall. Talk about cheesy shows, but the girls in their spandex were hot...I liked 'em both but the brunette sidekick had me hands down...I gots me a thing for brunettes...LOL

Favourite SCTV skit was "Half Wits" with Eugene Levy doing a pissed off take on Alex Trebec. And Catherine O'Hara's "Dewey Decimal System" answer, Rick Moranis offering to disconnect John Candy's buzzer because (oh, I could go on and on), etc.

Canadian classic: "Trouble with Tracy" on CTV. Just about the textbook answer to what was wrong with Canadian TV back then.

King of Kensington. Al Waxman, RIP.

Game show: "Definition" where sometimes you could win a jackpot of around $65

"Night Shift"? on channel 47 with Chuck the Security Guard where they'd play the weirdest friggin' videos like a guy giving some rant and then walks back and blows himself up.

Okay, back to cartoons:

Mighty Mouse (end of each 'toon while circle would close fading to black, there was always a drug reference)

The "OLD" Popeyes where he would mumble under his breath all the time which is what Robin Williams copied for his Popeye.

Davey and Goliath - "Hello, Daaaaavey"

How many did Casey Kasem do voices for? He was Robin for Superfriends, one of the G Force crew, one of the Scooby Doo cast, and something else?
