my fav memory

Like many my fav memories come from 92-93......in that year i had several from the famous nikoli goal in det game 7, to folignos ot goal in game 5 that series. there was also that game 7 blowout vs st louis and wendel literally tearing off cujos head(he was crying it looked like to me). But my fav memories came in the la series. I have three from that. One was when clarkie tied it up to send it to overtime with less then a min left. i almost fainted due to happiness lol.....we lost game 6 in ot (thx to kerry f that fag). My second fav was when clark came to dougies resue and smacked around marty mc. that i will rember forever...in my sports room i have a huge painting of that fight....but my fav memory from that year was after the leafs lost to LA in game 7 and wendel broke his stick at center and looked like someone just dies that the fans all stood up ( i was there) everyone in the house who were all heartbroken and many had tears stood up and gave that team a standing ovation....yes we didnt win but we leaf fans no when someone gives all they got to win...and i rather lose 100 times like that then with players who dont give a damn. That was my fav moment the appreciation shown after alose. As a leaf fan personally thats all i ask for, everything we got...try to always win....and thats what i dont like about this year or so others when we dont but everything we have to win...(managment and players). In 93 i was a young guy only 11 years old and i understood all that back then and i still do now

The year the lost in Game 7 to LA, when Gretzky scored from behind the net. THAT day was my wedding night.

Nik Borechevsky's (sp?) game and series deciding goal vs Detroit. It was a radio game for me so I still enjoy that highlight.

The years at my Wood St. apartment, my roomate and I got a lot of cheap playoff tix after the puck dropped. I worked at an ad agency and spent a lot of client $$$ on the CBC so I also got a lot of free tix.

Developing, starting and screaming the JoSeive chant during that crazy Leafs/Blues playoff series. Cujo played awesome goal that series. There were lots of OT's and I had corner Blues over Cujo for every home game. Sadly, the Leafs lost that great series.

Throwing TP off of my Wood St. apartment balcony and screaming Kolharski Sucks with thousands in corus after the blown LA call!

It might not be my favourite, but thinking now, the time Tie Domi sprayed water on the fan in Philly. :D

When The Cat dropped the gloves and laid the smackdown on Hextall. Leafs lost the game, but the smiles on the faces of the other leafs watching on the bench was priceless.

I think a thread called "Least Fav Leaf Memory" is more appropriate.

The last glory was in 1967 when there was 6 teams, which was also the final season before the great expansion.

Favourite memory?

The last time they lost to the Bruins. I was also in attendance at the last game played at the ACC. Philly won, which was sweet, and I hate Philly. I just hate the Leafs more!!!! :D

It's actually Italian's like you that ruin it for us all. I make a playful and insightful jab at the Leaf's and you put me down and try insulting my family in the process. What I did was in good fun, but what you did was just wrong and tasteless. But I can play like that too.

Guy's like you are only tough over the computer and/or the phone. And since you insulted my family I'll take a jab at yours...Your mother is a whore, I know this because I fucked your sister in the ass last night and she told me so.

Ciao,

so your mistaken
That just proves your mother has been around the block numerous times. You have a sister you don't even know about.

Also Dimitri, your spelling and grammar is shit.

First off, I`m not a Leafs fan. Anyways, some of you may be too young for this one, but I still remember when I was a little kid watching the game where Sittler got 10 points, and thinking it was some extraordinary, special once-in-a-lifetime performance.

Come to think of it, maybe it was. Still surprises me that Gretzky or Lemieux never broke that one.

Poor goalie.........that was his one and only game that the goalie for Boston played in the NHL. He was only playing because Cheevers had the flu, and the Boston coach, went on a hunch to try this goalie out against the Leafs. The goalie was a Toronto native too.

knocking off the Senators!

I remember well eliminating the Senators several times. Of note is the one game when Corson & Tucker weere both banged up & threw themselves in front of pucks as the Leafs hung on to eliminate the Sens. I believe Ottawa had more talent & the Leafs more heart. Toronto simply wanted to win more.
