Or at least that's what Alex Jones says.
The issue you guys have is well educated scientists intimidate you, especially when telling you what science says about your life.

when emotion comes into play most peoples logic shuts down. I am sure this trait has been exploited since long before Socrates. You can manipulate the husband of the most faithful wife by embellishing and exaggerating - the key is to sew doubt. Once you have succeeded the rest just falls into place. Advertisers jury lawyers, just about everyone successful uses this ploy frequently and often.I can't believe some are not intelligent enough to realize the scientific impact Dr. Fauci had for the last 50 years.
How in the world could people be that stupid.
Really? How did you figure that?people who were not at risk didn't need to be shot up...
Yup!when emotion comes into play most peoples logic shuts down. I am sure this trait has been exploited since long before Socrates. Logos, Pathos, and Ethos as rhetoric - Aristotle lays it out way back then. (Admittedly that's a bit after Socrates, but still.)when emotion comes into play most peoples logic shuts down. I am sure this trait has been exploited since long before Socrates.
Because they only care about immediate gratification and personal convenience.I can't believe some are not intelligent enough to realize the scientific impact Dr. Fauci had for the last 50 years.

Your track record was worse.....Fauci has been manipulative and less than truthful since the very beginning of this debacle.
Masks didn't work, lockdowns were a disaster and people who were not at risk didn't need to be shot up.
But follow the political science he did.........
You mean MIKE Wallace!Chris Wallace is the son of legendary Mark Wallace.
Oh yes. I would some get lost from my world. It is actually interesting that we now live in a world in wnich we can never get lost, and yet some of us would just love to about now.....
He was the cause of the pandemic. He will burn in hell forever. If you know science, Fauci is a hero. He honestly gave opinions based on the best evidence at any moment. He was hurt by the chinese because they tried to squelch information and would not share early on, and as he learned more and more about this novel virus, his advice changed accordingly. This is normal, if you know science.
If you know how epidemiology, Fauci makes perfect sense. His advice on dealing with this virus was classic tactics based on real epidemics throughout the world over the past 50 years. This was very familiar, if you know epidemiology.
If you know how those government positions really work, you'd know Fauci had declared his income, including royalties. Its a requirement of the job. That one GOP senator from Kansas embarrassed himself trying to make this alleged lack of transparency (due to his staff's inability to do simple research) a scandal (and whom Fauci properly called a "moron" on a hot mic). Moreover, as head of a branch of NIH he's not a dictator. Every funded project out of his branch is peer reviewed by 6-10 respected scientists who have no conflicts of interest on the projects they review (eg, one does not review projects submitted by colleagues, current and past collaborators, previous supervisors or students, or any financial conflicts), and these panels recommend which projects get funded. Again, routine, if you know how these government positions work.
Thus people who attack him strike me as remarkably ignorant on all of these things. In most cases I don't blame these individuals because they were made ignorant by an axis of bad actors actively pushing various agendas and misinformation and continue to do so (trump and his minions, desantis and his minions, the russians, the chinese, the anti vaxxers, Qanon, other professional conspiracy theorists, known quacks, etc.) Their influence is now suppressing vaccination rates and childhood diseases long dormant (polio, measles, etc) are making a comeback. Their followers die from covid at a higher rate too.
The evidence is clear. In Sweden where they initially took minimal measures, they had a death rate of roughly 590 deaths per million, many times the 50 per million in Norway, 108 in Denmark, and 113 in Germany. All this is documented in peer reviewed medical journals. The opposition evidence comes from nonscientists based on...anecdotes? Using counterfactual modeling, had the UK adopted the Swedish model its high death rate would have doubled. Had Sweden adopted the UK measures it would have cut its death rate in half (again, a peer reviewed paper. You can look it up (Mishra, Scott, et al, 2021).
It's frustrating to see this decent man vilified by odious people deliberately out to confuse others, who have misled otherwise decent people into attacking Fauci including constant death threats.
Very well said. I find it astounding that we took sides, even while our loved ones were getting sick and dying.....disgusting and shameful.....If you know science, Fauci is a hero. Remember at the height of the pandemic hospitals overflowed and refrigerated trucks brought in for the bodies in the USA.
