Fat shaming is a form of bullying that is still acceptable to many in society.

Here’s an intelligent and funny response to it.

Never understood fat shaming myself. If they wish to be overweight it makes no difference in your life whatsoever. Leave them be. Now, I wish somebody would address small penis shaming. :(

Fat shaming is the least of society's problems. If fat shaming had any societal impact, the obesity rate would be plummeting rather than shooting to the moon.

Promoting health isn't fat shaming either.

There are a couple of issues at work here.

Fat shaming is bullying. So why are people giving respect to bullies regardless of the shaming tactics. Why are they enabling this kind of attitude.

Also the victimization culture. So fucking what if they think you are fat and living an unhealthy lifestyle. You know your truth, you know your issues or non issues, you know what makes you and doesn’t make you happy. So fucking what if they think you are fat. What happened to how you think? Also if your friends and family enable this toxic shit then why have them in your life and/or give them your valuable time.

Why is the culture that thinks they are fat shamed enabling and empowering their oppressors or these bullies.

Radio Head got it right is the 90s when they said you do it to yourself and thats why it fucking hurts.

Two things.

First, obesity and all the associated health issues do affect all of us. There are only so many hospitals, doctors and hours in a day. It’s a drain on the system.

Second, the people that are lying about fat being beautiful and being healthy at every size are the true culprits. Nobody likes being fat, outside of some fetish weirdos.

If you ever need proof, just look at what happens when some lard ass drops a ton of weight. They show off their new look, and get a ton of praise from everybody.

If you’re fat, don’t be fat. It’s easy. If someone bullies you, stand up to them. Don’t cry about it on the internet and revel in sympathy likes and retweets.

Really it boils down to not being such pussies. Don’t be a pussy.

Isn’t life better that way?

Nobody says it is.
Why do you dismiss this type of bullying as a problem?
Considering that a near majority of people in the West are verging on obese, I think that "bullying" (I've witnessed no such thing since primary school) can be brushed off. Just go outside, look around, and find that you're in good company with millions of others just as obese as yourself. Or jump on the BBW bandwagon that's promoted as sexy and healthy, even though we all know it's a fraud. Whatever works. People make snide comments, usually in heated arguments, or lighthearted ones in jest... fortunately fat is a choice. Imagine being short, or having a small cock, or something else for which one has no control.

Years of endless abuse (and that's what it is) cannot just be brushed off. Clearly you know this since you seem to have some kind of complex about having a small cock.

Who are you to say fat girls aren't sexy? I personally love big women and know many men who do as well.

As for healthy, skinny people can have health issues too, just like there are many over weight people (I believe you mentioned are a majority of the western population which matches the belief that majority of women are size 14US), so if that were the case you are saying majority of people experience things like diabetes and hypertension, yeah stats don't follow you there.

I am not denying that a number of over weight people have poor health, but your own numbers don't support that they all do, by a long shot. Which would mean, that fat people do not automatically have poor health, so I don't know why you imply that being "pro health" has anything to do with weight and how it is a defence for fat shaming. Sorry man.

I have to agree that fat people have never really affected my life really. I think doctors fat shame all the time, patients have to lose weight before certain procedures can be performed or they won't do it because of the failure rate. They are usually pretty harsh.

If it weren't for fat chicks I'd still be a virgin.

Our emphasis on carbs and sugar keeps many in a vicious circle of obesity. That food pyramid that the government pushes out is immoral.

She says poverty is part of the problem and her party has worsened poverty.
You do realise that there are counter arguments that would claim the Dems are to blame for poverty right?

And I really don't see a political narrative to bullying at all.

Well not unless you are looking for it of course.
