there’s a guy who was charged with murder (I think) but was saved by a Dodgers baseball game, the broadcast just happened to catch him in the stands when the crime occurred.
There’s a Netflix special about it which I haven’t seen.
If not for the game broadcast, he’d probably be behind bars
The story is even wilder than I remembered!
It wasn’t just any baseball game, it was being used for an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm!
I was mistaken, it wasn’t the game broadcast but rather It was footage recorded for the Show that proved he was at the game!

This is the only reason I oppose the death penalty in America without a confession
I used to be pro death penalty but there have been too many instances of wrongful convictions, including some where the suspects have “confessed”
There have been instances of people confessing to crimes usually after hours of questioning when they’re emotionally vulnerable.

I would still support the death penalty only in which there’s stated forethought to the murder, which we’ve seen more and more with people posting stuff on various social media like Menhaz Zaman who posted ““Going to kill my parents and go to jail yo. … gonna miss u” weeks before killing his family.
