Ok, with all the crap these celebrities get into today, what the hell does it take to fall from grace, and stay there?

Porn, anti-semitism, diagram military positions during a war,no panties, drunk driving, drugs, etc, nothing it seems that celebs do today can harm them in the long run.

I can only think of a few exceptions, OJ (you all remember him) and John Denver (thank God I'm a country boy). If you don't remember, JD was caught hoarding gasoline in giant tanks on his ranch, during the gas shortage in the mid '70s. Did not go over well with all those fans lining up at the pumps, and he was pretty much never heard from again.

Danny boy has never been more popular. He has his own show on VH1. Everytime I turned on VH1 in the states, he was on, it seemed. I don't even remember what it was he did that was so bad, other than being a drugged up hot-head.

He had his 15min of fame, but it's not like he bitch-slapped Merv Griffin , or something, did he?

To make this list, the candidate must have had some celebrity status, and then seriously f.cked up somehow, and that ruined their career to the point that anyone would be ashamed to be near them. It seems to be almost impossible to do today.

Fairly small list when you consider the crap celebs get away with today.

Mel Lastman could have made the list, if he was not doing such crap so often, it became accepted.

Maybe we need a new list, of what a celeb would have to do make this list.

hehe Milly Vanilly, certainly they qualify. They were at the top of their game, and it all just ended in one show. Not fair by todays standards, but shit happens.

Tyson .... I just don't know. There was never one specific thing he did that ruined him or shocked anyone. He had a full career. The ear biting was just the icing on the cake. And he was never really shunned by the press or fans. He just turned up in Rocky Balboa for some hard to understand reason.

Mackenzie Phillips...there's an oldie. One of the first child-star coke heads and whatever else she did. She was shunned for long time, but made it back in a small way. Shame is, if it happened today, she would have been a bigger celeb.

How about John Delorean? A trunk full of cocaine brought him down fast, never to rise again. Now popular at local car shows, but never again an industry leader.
