Hey guys do you know any good eye glass places where i can shop at, looking for designer frames like Prada and stuff. Lenscrafters is way to expensive and i don't like their selection.

Any help would be appreciated.

Careful with that place:

Their future is grim and any warranty you might get would be worthless. If you want the best deal for your glasses, generally get them through your eye doctor because their fees are capped for glasses. Most people don't know that -- if you they carry designers like Prada or Versace for example, they can save you a lot more than a retailer.

I'm waiting for you....
pearl vision in Limeridge

I buy mine there. They have 2 4 1 on their designer frames as well. I bought prada and versace eye glasses and got the versace free. (all in all 2 designer frames with lenses for 650). Lenscrafters quoted me $980 for 2 pairs, and they only had 1 row of "true" selection of designer frames, where Pearl had 10x more selection. The downfall is at Pearl u don't get the glasses in an hour. I had to wait 48 hrs. So if you can wait, then I would recommend Pearl.

Thanx for the input guys, yeah i don't like great glasses, they don't have much designers. My doctor tried to convince me to buy from his place but all his glasses looked 20 years old.

I went to three places, Iluminata i think it was called in Limebridge and Spexx optical in Mapleview centre and they both have good designers. I liked spexx store and selection and they are giving me free lenses right now. I still got to try a few stores though, i think it's called eyeglass shop on brant.

Glasses cost so much these days :(

Burlington Eye glasses

Try Specs on Pearl, great service, stylish frames, but not cheap. Also quite a few hot girls there to help. Always a plus

I finally bought my glasses yesterday after like 2 months lol, i went to spexx on pearl nice selection but was very expensive, dropped by a store named eyeglass shop but nothing really caught my eye.

I went back to Spexx optical in maple view centre in burlington, they have a awesome selection of both sunglasses and prescription glasses. I was very pleased with their service even though it took a few days to get my glasses which they told me it would but i didn't mind that at all.

Picked up a oakley prescription frame with all the bells and whistles and got a nice pair of ray ban sunglasses. I highly recommend them, speak to the young short indian guy, he's really helpfull.

I'm going to go back for contacts as well, just couldn't afford them at the moment.

You'll be amazed at their selection and the pricing is the best in town and they guarantee that as well, drop by and have a look when your due for your next pair.

go try glasses at the local store, copy down the model number of the ones you like, search and buy it online for half the price, perhaps even lower

I took print out's to the store from online to show them the price, they said you don't know if it's real or not because there are a lot of scams online, plus add the shipping, duty, convert to canadian pricing and pay the fed ex guy 50bucks.

That i could manage to pay because to be honest it's not that much what worried me was if i was going to get a genuine product and if you buy it at a retail store you get one year warranty.

Plus i had my 75 dollars benefits from school plus a 200 from work because i'm full time now. If you factor all that in your better off buying it from a store.

Trust me this is what i've been doing for the past 2 months, it was my first pair so i wanted to make sure it went smoothly.

Kinda hurt my sp streak because i was a bit low on cash but cookie in sauga made up for it.
