Extortion! We Chat scam

This scam or con has actually been going on around the world for a few years now.

Here`s a couple of examples I found on other boards in years past.

Scammers and con artists everywhere, just gotta be smart and protect yourself.

So two guys go to 52 division admitting that they attempted to purchase sex which is a crime under bill C36 but ended up defrauded with no sex? Furthermore, the policing are interesting in helping these two gentlemen. This is very interesting.

That is an interesting twist.
I heard one report in which the police were almost pleading with people who had been scammed to come forward... uh, if C-36 hadn't made it illegal to purchase sex I'm sure many more would come forward but now too many people are just scared so the scammers and extortionists are getting away with murder.
So I guess the law is having the impact the government thought it would! The criminals are profiting and the innocents just looking for a little booty call are skulking around in the shadows hoping not to get caught
