I venture to guess 70% of the population below the age of 70 are
lefties. Righties are a minority.
Most people are in the centre, and pick their politics like they pick their sports teams.
You misunderstand the foundation of your own question.
The allegation is that some of the Jan 6 offenders were instigated and encouraged by both FBI undercovers and left wing agitators (posing as protesters). Naturally, none of these instigators were arrested, so they aren't sitting in jail. We could follow the money, at least on the FBI side of the question, if the FBI would only release the names of the undercover agents they had in the crowd, which they refuse to do.
Most comedians who are funny at all embrace at least some right wing positions.
Might be even higher than 70% in some parts of the country. There are actually two classes of lefties. There are the plain vanilla lefties and then there are the radical lefties.
