My wife fired our hot nanny a while ago. At that point, I could work from home sometimes and during her last week I dealt with her regularly. We chatted a bit and I mentioned how sorry I was about the unfortunate situation. She mentioned that her loosing the job came at a bad time and that she needed to make about $400 quickly. She asked if I could intercede on her behalf and talk to sense into my wife. I said "no can do". She then asked if there was anything she could do in the last few days to earn that money... my wife did not have to know.

Needless to say, I ran for he hills. I said I was sorry but there was nothing that I could think of. I avoided her for the last few days.
