I find as I get older I sometimes hit a wall with alcohol and coffee(and candy). Probably moreso on an empty stomach.

Years ago someone told my the dancers at strips, would drink cream before accepting drinks from customers. This woulsd stop them from getting drunk and they would go to the washroom and vomit it out.

Interesting... When I want (need) to take a break from alcohol, I typically will drink lots of it and daily to the point I get sick of it. Once accomplished, I find it much easier to not drink for lengthy period of time. I don't get the cravings and I notice the joy of not drinking much more.

Decades ago, there were drugs used to stop you from drinking... I believe they caused a whole slew of problems.
