The only disagree with Don, is that not all teams are doing this. I didn't see these non stop diving antics by Germany, Ukraine, or England. Just Italy and Portugal.
Every team does it. Some are just more blatant about it.

You never see the diving theatrics in English Premier League, (not even by players who do this disgusting practice when playing on their national teams.). It's not tolerated.

Listen. Its the best and most loved sport on the planet and no amount of put downs by you and those of your ilk will change that. So keep crying and whinging. As we say back home "It hot, but hush"
:D
The sport is fine. The flopping isn't. Apparently it is not part of the sport since there is a penalty for it. I criticized hockey when they weren't calling all the clutching and grabbing because I felt that wasn't part of the game.

I watch EPL religiously and Owen has done it before

"68:35 Ronaldo gets hit on the back of the leg and rolls four times on the ground. Excellent gymnastics display that wins the call.":p
My favourite one, fucking classic. I would do anything at a chance to kick the shit out of this baby.

BTW, where are the turds that said Portugirl was gonna cream England?
They couldn't score 1 man up in the 25+minutes they had.
Good call on the "cream" part. lmao

Another stupid question

Another stupid football question:

Does being shorthanded impact the penalty kicks in any way if it gets that far? (i.e. - does England get one less kick oportunity)?

He didn't avoid it forever. (Hargreaves finally yellow carded as mentioned in page 1 of this thread)

whooo hoo

but to bad ENGLAND does not have Bechkam or roodney for the shoot out.

May the best team win!
beckham is the one who threw away his penalty the last time these teams met in Euro 2004.

Eriksson bowed to the English press and fans pressure. When he first took the job he selected too many forwards/players with the wrong complexion for their liking and he has now given them what they want by leaving the EPL top man Darren Bent at home as well as Jermaine Defoe who is in an ADIDAS ad no less. lol. My gosh.

Crouch is a man who shouldnt be able to make even Fiji's national team. He is clumsy and all he can do is foul the defender he is up against and that is what he did to get his only world cup goal

He would like to. He's a whiney bitch, cry-baby bitch.
Portgull couldn't even score a man up in 60mins.
Great time. ;)

Like I said, Lampard is a huge surplus and an even bigger liability. Any team that has Gerrard and Lampard (the same player) playing in midfield deserves to have their asses shown the door.

The Hammer
Brazil still has to beat France their, which is not a given...

poor Rooney, gets burned by a brutal red card

and I just knew Lampard and Gerrard would miss, Lampard has done nothing and Gerrard doesnt even like taking PK's for Liverpool!

Predictions:

Germany will win the cup against Brasil in Penalty shots.
