I'm looking for a simple solution to create a good looking, professional website. It is important that menus and a proper site structure are supported. Blogging functionality would be nice, however I don't want to spend time dealing with spam. It will be an informational website about starting a business.
Most importantly, I want something that looks great and has visual appeal.
I have been looking at the following options:
- Google Sites
- Square Space
- Blogger
- WordPress
- Joomla
- Dreamweaver
- HTML, CSS, CGI (both computer generated imagery, and making C programs generate web pages.)
- Hiring someone
I would really like a solution that is simple and straightforward. It does everything for me, and lets me do special stuff if I want to. I can program, but don't want to program to do this website.
Any ideas? experiences?
