For those that haven't heard it referenced before, an "Easter Egg" in Software is a hidden feature, usually revealled by entering special commands or following the proper set of sequences to unlock something.
One example would be the easter egg in Word 97 (or was it 98) where you highlight row 97 in column B, held down the right shift button and click on help/about, it would then open up a 3D graphic engine (similar to the original Doom) which you then navigate a small maze to open a room full of pictures/names of the developers of the product. (Please note my instructions above are most likely wrong, its been a long time).
Here's a new type of easter egg that I hadn't seen before, using a search engines abilities to manipulate what is found. Go to www.google.ca and search for 'miserable failure' and click the 'I'm feeling lucky' button.
Anyone know of current Easter Eggs for any of the Microsoft Products? They tend to be the most common.
