My friend and I were fucking his girl friend when it started. She thought somebody was coming through the front door and almost took off. I thought it was just a neighbour hammering away at something or some drilling was being done in the area. Just found out now it was an earthquake.

Any of you guys in the midst of a session when it happened? lol

Just heard of at least one building (Primus data centre) in south Ottawa that has partially collapsed. Have not heard of any injuries. They lost one of their cell towers too...

Looks like the site is back - sort of. All it says is "June 23 1:45 pm Eastern Time - A moderate earthquake has occurred in the Ottawa-Montreal region. More information to follow" and the rest is a blank page.

I noticed some thing funny too, i was taking a piss and my balls were slapping sideways against my thighs. I looked down and said "WOW that's strange" went on about my day like every other day

A 5.5 quake is considered moderate, though it can do damage to older buildings. Hopefully no one was hurt. I went through a 5.8 a few years ago and it's a shock if you haven't experienced quakes before. The Richter scale is logarithmic. In other words, a 6.5 quake would be ten times as strong as a 5.5. Imagine what people who went through a 7.0 or stronger experienced.
