Who is your early favourite for Liberal leader after after the battered Dion steps down , leaking bodily fluids from knife wounds in the back and bruised from shots to the jaw ?

A new pole for leader?

A used telephone pole would be better than what they had.:D

Most likely to win: Ignatieff (sp?)

Rae will make a spirited run for the leadership but will probably fail yet again due to baggage from when he was NDP Premier of Ontario.

Dark horse: Martha Hall Findlay. She ran last time and didn't do terribly well, but that race was good training and background for this one.

There seems to be support for Michael Ignatieff... Am I the only one that thinks that Ignatieff will be an even worse disaster than Dion

No you aren't. he takes pompous to a new level. He is clearly a better speaker than celine but clarity of voice will only serve to highlight his smug "elite" lieberalness.

As a Conservative I'm just hoping they pick little commie rae this time around.

I have great respect for Manley and maybe Tobin. I think Iggy is just an arrogant prick who isn't quite as smart as he thinks he is. To the extent that will show once the spotlight is more firmly on him I don't know but I think you may be right.

I think Frank McKenna could be included in your list.
You are right but I can't seem to amend the poll

Rae wants it bad but don't think he'll get it.

Manley, Iggy, Kennedy. In that order.

Ignatieff is such a hottie tottie academic jackass, never mind he supports the Georgie jr efforts to bring democracy to Iraq and thinks torture is ok, has pissed of both the Ukrainians and Croats in a single book and cant make up his mind about Israel

How long before little snot-nose Justin Trudeau makes a run at the leadership. Hopefully he is better than his dad. Hated Pierre!
