The E Jean Carroll case will go down as one of the most ridiculous uses of the court system ever. What she pulled off couldn’t be done to anyone else in this country. It was clear political targeting and a far left judge deciding what could and couldn’t be shown to the jury. The Trump team can’t disprove her by showing where he was on the date in question, because she doesn’t even know the year. They can’t point out that the dress she claimed to be wearing didn’t even exist because the Judge considers it irrelevant. They can’t point out the fact that very vocal Trump haters like George Conway urged Carroll to sue because the Judge thinks it doesn’t matter. They can’t point out the fact that she’s talked about her r*pe fantasies on the news because it’s not relevant to this case. They can’t point out the fact that the law in New York was changed the day he left office just so she could sue. Carroll can call Trump a rap*st but if he calls her a liar he’s liable for defamation? This case is a joke and she’s a joke. The appeals court better do the right thing and fix this atrocity and hopefully Trump counter sues her and her donors.
Mitch, anyone can cherry pick details from a trial and argue that the result was unfair.

Fact is that the jury believed her and gave her the award.

Obviously Trumpty Dumbty has not learned from his past mistakes. He is incapable of leading a Nation. Remember how he now had to Post a Bond after he defamed Jean Carroll?
Well he is at it again. Hopefully, she once again sues him again:

Despite being found liable for attack, Trump claims E. Jean Carroll made 'false accusations' against him

The former president is appealing two civil court losses after he was found liable for sexually abusing and then defaming the writer.

Former President Donald Trump on Saturday reiterated his claim that writer E. Jean Carroll had levied “false accusations” against him, even as similar remarks have resulted in large court judgments against him.

Speaking at a Georgia campaign rally that represented Trump’s pivot toward the general election as he seeks to prevent a second loss to Democratic President Joe Biden, Trump reiterated a number of grievances, Carroll’s civil court victories among them.

“I just posted a $91 million bond, $91 million on a fake story, totally made-up story,” he said, referencing the bond he posted this week as he appeals a defamation verdict against him.

“Ninety-one million based on false accusations made about me by a woman that I knew nothing about, didn’t know, never heard of, I know nothing about her,” he continued.

“She wrote a book, she said things,” Trump told the raucous crowd in Rome, about 70 miles northeast of Atlanta. “And when I denied it, I said, ‘It’s so crazy. It’s false.’ I get sued for defamation. That’s where it starts.”

At issue for Trump has been Carroll’s allegation that he raped her during an encounter in the dressing room of a New York department store in the 1990s and then defamed her by calling her account a “hoax” and a “con job.”

In May, a jury did not find Trump liable for the alleged rape but awarded Carroll $5 million after finding the former president liable for sexually abusing and defaming her.

A separate case focused on similar comments Trump made about Carroll while in office and concluded he defamed her when casting doubt on her story. U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan said that case would be about determining damages — later adjudged to be $83.3 million — as the abuse was factual.

Trump is appealing both cases.

The judgments did not appear to dissuade him from returning to his denials of her account. On Saturday, Trump said that Carroll “is not a believable person” and that Kaplan — whom he called “a terrible person, a terrible judge” and “highly corrupt” — knows as much.

Trump blamed “Democratic operatives” for his defamation woes, and called the city where he and his father bought, sold, traded and developed real estate projects for the better part of a century a crooked metropolis.

“New York is a very corrupt place,” Trump said.

It did not appear Carroll had responded to Trump’s latest denials of her story as of early Sunday.

Last night I received a serious threat and the individual is now in custody. Our family wants to thank law enforcement for acting quickly. Since the ABC News interview where George Stephanopolous rape shamed me - we’ve received a barrage of threatening messages and calls from all around the country - all week. Neither political violence nor the threat of it is ever going to be tolerated.
