Got on the topic of wrestling and started to explain to somebody about how it's not blood packs but real cuts created by razor blades.
It's not a sport but what these guys do take a lot of physical ability, trust in their partner and guts.
This led to a discussion of older wrestlers that they remembered and Dynamite Kid came up. It's really too bad that he rode is body into the ground and put himself in a wheelchair.
Here's a highlight vid......
1) when watching it think Chris Benoit and you'll see incredible similarities (mind you CB idolized this guy and admits he emulated him)
2) then notice the mix of styles high flying, technical and acrobatic/luchador moves
3) then consider that this was in the 80s.... man he was ahead of his time when you consider the bulk of the wwe wreslters were steroid hulks with only a handful of moves
