Gotta love hijacking the topic at times to debate the price for an SP. People charge what they want. You can get great service for the H from someone charging the low end average rate or someone charging in the high 100s or even thousands. If a SP you see changes her rates and you're not happy then find someone else. Not all people with big money also waste it on high end designer clothing that's extremely marked up along with the overhead costs to factor too (also depends on the investors on board who want to get paid too). You do realize you can get a great quality 100% organic cotton shirt for a lot less compared to something from a high end brand offering a basic plain shirt or with just the brand's name on it. Many of you lack the basic business knowledge and I don't mean that in a rude way. And most high end designer stuff try to resell you barely will get much for it if you're smart to realize that. It's usually people with low self-esteem that need to rock tons of brand stuff IMO. If a SP is fine with what they charge and don't budge then simply go else where if you find something better. And not all of us on here who hobby have the same financial status. I like the forum for weeding out the bad SPs and scams and luckily I rarely do this hobby yearly compared to some of you or with deeper pockets. I seen someone selling a used men's gold diamond ring on FB MG for the high hundreds when the ring itself is realistically only worth like 50-60 or slightly more if that. If someone wants to pay that much or close to it then that's there choice. Quite a few people probably try selling their diamond stuff to jewelry store owners or pawn shops and get told exactly what I wrote. You pay more for something due to mark up/overhead.
As someone who lived up in the GTA you can different rates based on where you go. Some have high end condos and perhaps their lifestyle is different than someone in Durham so they charge way more. If a client wants to pay that much it's up to them similar to anyone with deep pockets wanting a high end brand name shirt or a high end shirt where the brand isn't well known. GTA clearly also has people who make 6 figure salaries who can do what they want with their money compared to a smaller region like Durham.
There are people who even if they won millions in a lottery wouldn't waste it on "luxury" brands or even a high end SP or escort. You only live once and people do whatever they want with their money. Some would rather donate/gift more to a SP they enjoy or to some charity than even passing it to their kids if they have kids. And not all SPs are struggling doing what they do. No different than going to a stripclub and the stripper keeps brushing you off cause you're not obeying her limits no matter how much money you have. Not everyone cares about the money and some make a decent living doing it for short term to pay off things like their school loans then are done with the industry.
I wouldn't even compared Durham to places like in the States such as Las Vegas where you can get someone for different amounts also and once again the service given solely depends on the person cause even some high end ones are meh.
I'm not even in Durham but have travelled for someone and where I go or who I see is up to me. If I had deeper pockets and the time like another SP mentioned I got no problem flying to see someone if I think I'll enjoy the connection. And there are people who even have paid SPs that are reliable to come visit them where they live and will pay for the person's plane ticket and entire time along with a good size deposit since not everyone is a scammer. You only live once and meeting people exploring is great. I got a buddy who knows I do this hobby the odd time and he's never done it cause he mostly enjoys finding a decent FWB which I have also done, but he's the type who'd never pay. YMMV.
