Tips for what? She gave you a price for a massage. She offered a HE, which you didn't want in the first place.
I would have told her "too bad" and walked out the door paying her the $75 she quoted.

I needed a massage badly the other day so i devided to give it a shot. I didn't ask for anyone in particular and got an old lady. Went in for 60 min massage and she told me $75 cash. Massage was pretty good and again, I didn't plan on getting a HE that day. The old lady flipped me over and asked if I wanted a HJ. I told her no and when I paid her $80, she said I need to pay more for tips. So I ended up giving her $90 cash. I don't go to spas and I usually don't tip my register massage therapist. Is it normal thing to expected to tips? If that's the case, I would prefer to go to my massage therapist and get a receipt. Needless to say, I will unlikely to go back there

I think so…most Asian spas I think they expect 20% tip for regular and then what ever they make off HE is their own cuz I think most of the room fee goes to the owner. So I’m guessing if 75$ is the hour rate then maybe they get 25$ and the rest goes to the house.

The same happened with my a long time ago. Her name is Lucy. I had a not good massage from her, too soft to me, and when I turned she touched me offering extra and I said no. When I was paying 30 min massage. She asked me $50 tip because she touched me, but I didn't ask nothing and honestly, was too fast. I refused tip and she start to scream in Chinese and ask other girls. Mya came and I explained everything. And didn't pay any tip to her.
The crazy thing is because when I go there, always is Lucy the first girl to ask me for a massage and I always say no and want other girl.

No extra tip if you're already paying tip for HE.

Honestly guys, if you know AMPs where they offer HE, then go for the HE and not just a regular massage. These ladies don't make much after room fees. If you're not getting a HE then tip a lil extra especially if you received a decent massage.

Yes if you're only looking for a good massage then RMT is better option. However most AMPs charge $70-80 per hour. A $10-20 tip is still less than $120 with a RMT if not getting a HE.

I agree totally with you - most of these women are not registered masseuse and may not even be allowed to legally be working in Canada, that's why they are working there for cash. The owners take the majority or all of the room fee - what they make is on tips for the HJ - so when you don't do it the woman makes virtually nothing and has also been tied up with you for 30 or 60 minutes and missed other clients. I get the point on why no tip if you are not interested in the extra, but if you want a straight massage go to a regular place or have the decency to give at least a tip. They are not looking to rip you off they are trying to survive.

Nothing wrong with what you written just some folks like me didn't know the rules. I was looking for cheaper option than Rmt. With an RMT, i at least able to claim. I usually goes for independent MA if I look for a good time. Plus, being Asian, we always expect cheaper price when paying cash.

However during the HE she seemed to change her mind and was kind enough to pull her top and bra up without me even asking and let me touch just as I was finishing. Asked for $100 (total) at the end which seems too low so I gave her a tip. I don't usually tip but I don't want to lowball anyone either. YMMV.
