TV’s Dr. Mehmet Oz was caught making a glib comment about sending kids back to school on Fox News. Getting them back to their pre-COVID-19 routine “may only cost us 2 to 3%, in terms of total mortality.” Whoops!
He later said that he uttered a poor choice of words.
“Any, you know, any life is a life lost, but that might be a trade-off some folks would consider,” the doctor said. Oz made the comments on the Sean Hannity Show, which has been accused of recklessly reporting on the virus crisis.
