Now details are released and you're crying about semantics.
Proof you're just looking for things to satisfy your confirmation bias and are in withdrawal now.
Just through a quick perusal of the extremely rosy assumptions, projections. hopes, wishes and dreams splayed out there by Thug's government regarding Thug's Place we can ascertain that:
1) Thug wishes and dreams that Therme will pay close to $2billion in rent and maintenance over the 95-year lease term. Remember those are thug's hopes, wishes and dreams and not reality.
2) The Thug has already spent "hundreds of millions of dollars" for site preparation which is still ongoing and not complete. Let's say this "hundreds of millions" is around $500million.
3) Then there is the matter that the Thug is contractually obligated to build/find 1800 parking spots. At first, he just flippantly stated we'll build a fish tank submersible parking garage in the lake, but for "car drivers", with glass walls so that fishies and scuba divers can look into to see the thousands of cars stacked inside like sardines.
4) Then it dawned on this dimwitted, dunderhead that the cost of the fish tank for cars would be $700million plus, plus so he is proposing a monster, multi-multi level above ground parking garage monstrosity be foisted upon the CNE grounds and the City of Toronto.
5) Guess what? The City of Toronto and the CNE are not playing ball. You wanna garage, then underground the to be demolished Better Living Center it be.
6) Cost, $500million plus fees, taxes and royalties to the City of Toronto and the CNE plus site enhancements.
7) Therme is to spend $200million on parkland.
8) So let's look at what we gotz so far:
Thug's hopes, wishes and dreams for Therme rent and maintenance payments of almost 100 years plus Thermes parkland cost equals $2.2billion.
Minus $500million spent by the Thug thus far on site preparation.
Minus $500million to be spent on an underground parking garage.
Which leaves the Thugs with net $1.2billion spread over 100 years which equals $12million a year as Thug's most fervent hopes, wishes and dreams.
But remember $12million a year when accounting for inflation over a 100-year period at just 2% inflation renders that $12million a year into peanuts.
All rosy projections underlying The Thug's hopes, wishes and dreams that he has hit the jackpot with a glass enclosed Eiffel Tower of a waterpark ham-fisted onto public lands on the lake.
But, it's Thug crap like the following ......
"The first, minimum rent, will be 3.5 per cent of the assessed value of Ontario Place, indexed to inflation and estimated to be $1.95 million in 2032.
In years when the company brings in higher revenues, beginning in 2034, it will also pay a so-called performance rent, which the government calculates could be an extra $2.07 million per year.

.... that should really make you wholly doubt the Thug's rosy, hopes, wishes and dreams because they do not mesh with his orgasmic 100 year projections.
