A few years ago, as twitter was becoming more and more popular with SPs, it was a great way to become a bit more familiar before meeting. Lately, it's just become a place to bitch, whine, compliment-seek and beg for gifts. Total turnoff...
They get offended because you unfollowed them? I don't use Twitter so I don't know how it works - do they get a notification when unfollowed (obviously when followed they do so they can approve)? Does it ask you to say why? And are you unfollowing but continuing to see these ladies so they have the chance to ask?I’ve seen a few ask for $2,000 handbags, Rolexes and some, even, cars. ARGH. I have to unfollow them. Some get offendended.
I have to agree that the not-too subtle messages about wanting extravagant gifts rubs me the wrong the way too.I’ve seen a few ask for $2,000 handbags, Rolexes and some, even, cars. ARGH. I have to unfollow them. Some get offended.
OK. So they've gotten a notification. So what? Are they hounding you on phone/email to find out why? Can't you ignore a message or come up with a reason (even a lie)?I have to agree that the not-too subtle messages about wanting extravagant gifts rubs me the wrong the way too.
And if you unfollow someone on Twitter, that person gets a notification of it.

Are they just joking or is this for real???I’ve seen a few ask for $2,000 handbags, Rolexes and some, even, cars. ARGH. I have to unfollow them. Some get offended.
Oh it's real. I made the statement earlier that I think wishlists indicate entitlement. I will amend that by being more specific. If a girl posts a wishlist or a Twitter post for something reasonable (bottle of wine, chocolates, a book) I do not think they are entitled. But I do think there is something wrong when a lady posts specific luxury items and "begs" to be showered with them. Are they just joking or is this for real???
If its the latter..well
I got no words for that other than
unfuckingbelieveable
That is precisely what twitter is for; it helped you weed out women you don't want to meet, even if they might be very attractive.. that is a big win for any "John"; unless you are uber rich and don't care about budgets, there are way too many beautiful women doing this, and any help in filtering them is welcomed. I use Twitter for that, to get a bit more info on an escort personality and of course look at her cute pictures. I am a very happy lurkerPersonally, I don’t follow any SP who complains about her job, her clients, etc. I just make a mental note to avoid them.
I already have a wife for that...I’ve seen a few ask for $2,000 handbags, Rolexes and some, even, cars. ARGH. I have to unfollow them. Some get offended.
Indeed, it is.I've recently joined Twitter to be able to announce changes in my schedule (e.g. vacation time, etc.). I'm having a professional site done and cannot make changes to it myself. I'm only allowed 2 changes post completion, which will be allotted to additional pictures and reviews down the road. Frankly, I'm too busy dealing with two businesses to spend much time posting anything anywhere, but do feel that social media is an excellent tool if utilized correctly.
