Not true. If you’ve worked at large corporations, you would’ve probably run into an internal audit team. It’s a great position to have at certain corporations if you want a fast track up the ladder.

Anyway, my point is these teams are starting to utilize algorithms to scan the books, not unlike what Elon is doing. It isn’t efficient to go entry by entry finding irregularities.

As an outside country looking in, I don’t know why people would oppose this. It’s basically showing the inefficiencies of how US handled money.

Actually it is true.
Moreover if you're using an algorithm you have to know exactly what people are doing for that algorithm to do what you want it to do. If you don't you spit out all sorts of false positives and miss the false negatives. These guys doing the algorithms have barely worked. Moreover, I can create an algorithm that will show all the employees are useless. GIGO is still a major problem with any machine learning or AI process. For example minor changes in your wording for an AI generated response can give you wildly different AI based results. Thus it's easy to rig the algorithms and systems to give you a result you hope to get. Just keep changing the wording until it does.

I agree. That is the far more likely of the two, regardless of what he does or doesn't understand about databases.
