Thanks to Trudeau they are even more crowded.
That's where existing citizens move to when they want some space for their families and to get out of crowded shoeboxes in the sky.
That would free up housing within the city so that when the feds let in too many immigrants, they'll have a better chance at finding somewhere to live.
The only thing that has been debunked here is you thinking you know what you're talking about.
You want them to move a few hours away and commute or is this part of your fantasy that you can move anywhere and there will be the perfect job waiting for you?

Everyone who could move out of the city and work remotely did so during covid, now they the are being called back in.
Think that changed house prices and rental availabilities massively when it happened?
As people moved out of the city it drove up prices in the areas they moved to. Supply/demand.
Just because some were called back in doesn't mean they moved back. in fact, many just found other jobs where their location didn't matter.

Many moved out of province to places like the east coast provinces. Prices went up.
