Does anyone have any personal habits, routines, or superstitions before, during, or after dates?

I mean just personal things that you may do on the day of the date, or things that you do differently from your regular everyday routines (work, school, days off, errands, etc.), that kind of thing. I'm not talking about what actually is going on in the bedroom, cause those are meant for the review forums.

---

I've give a few examples of what I mean:

- Before dates, and right before meeting her/handing over the donation, I obsessively check the envelope containing my donation to ensure I have the right and proper amount. It doesn't matter if if I confirmed the amount on her ads and our email/text conversations, it doesn't matter that I verified the count at my bank teller (or the ATM), I have a compulsion to just constantly check and reassure myself that the count is right (I just have to be careful not to count when there are other people around or cameras). The last thing I want to do is accidently short her, and get myself flagged and blacklisted as a haggler/someone who doesn't pay 😅

- One time I brought an extra gift and for whatever reason I decided to put the donation in with the gift, but then I panicked after she asked where the donation was when the date was ending before I cleared things up, so I ain't doing the "hide donation in gift" thing ever again; also donations are always either upfront or etransfered/deposited (I still get gifts though) 😅

- I don't eat anything at all (aside from drinking water) from the night before up until the date, so I never feel too full and I never feel compiled to go to the washroom. This is fine for the most part since I like having my dates during the noon hours or early afternoon (starting in between 12pm-3pm), but if the date is in the afternoon/evening (rare for me, but still possible), then I just go through the hunger; plus I almost always treat myself to a nice dinner dining out after the date is finished, since I'm out downtown anyways 😋

- I generally wear the same outfits on date day; nothing too fancy or formal like suit and tie, but a smart casual look with a specific collared shirt in my favourite colour, dark jeans, and good shoes. My original shirt is getting older, so I'm gonna have to retire it soon and find a good same coloured replacement

- When the date is over, we give departing pleasantries and kiss goodbye, and I leave the room and she closes the door, if the date was great, I usually give out a small fist pump to myself when I'm going through the stairs (never in the presence of other people or any visible cameras lol) 😂

Shower, shave, trim toe and finger nails.
Make sure underwear is presentable, as a lot I drag on to head to work do not pass public viewing standards.
Make sure shoes are clean and don't smell.

Floss the day before, so sometimes angry gums after this can have a chance to settle down.
Brush teeth well, scrape my tongue with the tongue scraper thing, gargle with mouth wash.

I rub one out before I go out on a date. less chance of the little head making decisions and not noticing red flags or undesirable things about her. post nut clarity.

The shoes that don't smell. That's amazing.

I had this problem so many times during the slushy times of the winter or the hot summer days. It's an smell that doesn't go away easily. Shit happens, I get it, but its easily fixed.

Wear socks or bring an extra pair with fresh socks with you. It takes five minutes and you are saving minutes if littéral panic to open the window ect. When you get out. ❤

Diet management. I recall seeing some place off Yonge advertising their daily special - was 3 bean garlic chili. And I thought that was the last thing you'd eat anywhere within 48 hours of a date lol. Anyhow, take diet into account starting the night before. Also won't really eat anything unless date is 4pm or later, then might eat brekkie.

Don't eat or drink anything except water or vodka after brushing teeth, about 2-3 hours prior to date. Bring my own little kit of mouthwash too.

Lol, we're kind of the opposite.

I use post nut clarity when I'm looking at reviews and pictures, and making my final decisions on who to see, before booking her/sending the texts/emails. I abstain myself for at least 4 to 5 days; the waiting and the anticipation is part of the fun for me.

You could actually save a lot of money this way. Rub one out. Go see her. Tell her Nah, not into it. Leave. Do it every time and save money.

Daily I have a long hot shower, exfoliate and moisturize, no matter what my schedule is like. Personally taking consistent measures to take care of my skin and body helps my confidence and energy.

Right before dates I edge myself, not something I normally practice. Makes me..for a lack of better words.. eager 👼🏻

After dates, and on days I keep to myself, I have lotions, bodywashes and even linens that are just for me. It helps me recharge and is a simple way to boost my self care.

I've always had my lucky underwear that I put on in the morning if I'm expecting things to happen. I had to replace them a while back (even lucky underwear can get ratty) but the new ones are not doing so well--I've had a few too many disappointments. I think I need to select another new pair of lucky underwear!
