Does Anyone Else Give A Shit About North Korea?

I realized that when I am around family and friends and topics about politics and world affairs come up, everyone mentions things like Russia/Ukraine, or Israel/Palestine, or Trump, etc but no one ever talks about North Korea. In my opinion, I think they are one of the biggest threats out there. They greatly advanced their nuclear and spying programs (using money stolen in cyber crime world wide), and they continously call South Korea, Japan and the U.S. their enemy and vow military action against them on a daily basis. They performed countless missile tests and most recently today by firing a long range, multi nuclear warhead capable, ICBM capable of hitting targets anywhere in the continental U.S. (and by extension, Canada)

It seems like the world is just dismissing their leader as a joke (and maybe he is) and not taken seriously.

I feel that if anything were to happen nuclear wise in the near future, it would be North Korea attempting to show that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Am I wrong?

I hope you are wrong. However, I don`t think lil` Kim is suicidal or crazy. He likes to wave his dick around and beat his chest. Nuclear aggression, firing first, against the States would be the stupidest and last thing he would ever get to do.

An apparently the arty shells often don't fire and when they do, don't hit what they are aimed for so they wear out barrels and make big boom but do minimal [but not 0] damage.
I would hazard a guess that Lil Kim is sending his oldest shells, but I have no actual evidence on that.
I question their nukes also, but the big brains seems to take it as legit, but then we* thought Poutine's army was actually... good? That aged badly.

*not me, the evidence was there beforehand but how bad they turned out to be was a joyful surprise.

We need more wars so we can have more good military books and movies. Afghan movies kinda got boring now. I'm waiting for the Ukrine movies to come out where it turns out that JSOC, JTF2, SEAL teams and SAS were there all along kicking up crap. I think last season of Seal Teams was in North Korea rescuing a nuclear scientist.

Devil's advocate here. Suppose he gets a serious threat from inside his own power structure? Significant parts of the population with absolutely nothing to lose. He could have his own 10/6, although he would see hostages as meaningless...
