I just recently decided to put Toronto Passions on Twitter. I was curious, do many people actually use Twitter on this board?

Seems like work to me. So no. Don't have an account, never go there, don't even care.

I have a facebook account, but frankly, I've been thinking about just deleting it because it seems so jeuvenile - something for teenagers.

You can put it on hold, and re-activate it once you are ready to bring it back. I have had mine on hold for several months.

I use Twitter for personal and business purposes, but would not follow a Twitter account related to hobbying.

Although you can have multiple Twitter accounts, there is no value to me in having multiple identities discovered, and then having media or loved ones scrutinize the list of who I "follow" on Twitter.

I must have missed the boat on this whole twitter thing. I really don't get the fascination? I have my own life and that keeps me busy. I don't have time to read about what people are doing all throughout their daily lives. To me it's just stupid.

If I want to make a booking with an agency I'll just look at their schedule (Terb posts or website) and make a booking. I refuse to sign up to twitter.

I have twitter. It's not so much of following other people's lives, but as another form of entertainment. I mostly follow comedians e.g. Stephen Colbert.

I totally use it, but it's weird trying to follow hobby accounts because you can't pick and choose who is visible on your following/followers list. If anything, I used to follow SPs twitter accounts because some of them are really clever, but the agencies usually state right in their description what they are so it's a little strange. I've gotten the hang of using my Twitter as a networking tool but have since had to unfollow or block hobbyist friends.

The discretion aspect of follwing agencies, could be an issue. Creating a specific hobby account is probably best.
