Do you think that a better looking client receives better service?

I know from some posts (and common sense) that attitude and politeness are important, but wondering if any you have a thought about this.

Thanks

I would believe that the vast majority of SP's would say that physical appearance makes no difference... but courtesy, cleanliness and overall chemistry are much more important...

Definately.

I have a friend who is good looking and he gets much higher mileage than I do with the same MPA.

I do agree that calloway's points do make a difference, but good looks will get you much more mileage.

But what are you going to do, you are what you are. Make the best of it.

I beleive that it has more to do with chemistry then good-looks...as beauty is in the eye of the beholder..but if he is great looking it sure makes the chemistry come easier

It doesn't hurt...that's for sure

Why do most men want to hit it with Mischa Barton, the olsen twins, jennifer love hewitt, natalie portman, jessica biel....etc...

...cuz they are friggin hot

I do ok mileage wise, and I'm rather plain looking..(i.e. butt-ugly)..In fact, I've had a few ladies, escorts, dancers, and MPA's tell me they wish they had more clientele like me.

Theres no doubt that a more attractive man will get better service.

This applies not only to MPs/SPs but to everyday life.
Theres been numerous academic studies on this and even TV news programs such as Dateline have looked into this.

I believe it was Dateline that had a group of "unattractive" men and women. And a second group of "attractive" people.
They sent out these people into similar situations and compared the results. The attractive group was treated much better - people were more willing to help them, trusted them more, etc. They did test such as going into stores and seeing if the sales people would go out of their way to help them; they had people try to ask for directions on the street; etc.

By far, the attractive group of people faired much much better. People were willing to stop and go out of their way to help them. Whereas the "unattractive" group couldnt even get people to stop and tell them directions. In stores, the unattractive people would be given a quick no and sent on their way. The attractive group had much better results. People offered to show them how to get to their destination and in stores they got service above and beyond.

The interesting thing was that the attractive group received great treatment regardless of sex - both men and women went out of their way to help attractive men. And attractive women recieved the same attention from both men and women.

I havent worked in retail or direct customer service jobs since my college days. But even back then I can remember always being happy to serve "attractive people" rather than ugly people.

So Im pretty sure this translates to SPs/MPs and maybe is even more applicable.

That's generic PC answer.

On the record, the vast majority of SP will say there's no difference.

Off the record, you won't get extra mileage if you are old, hair-receding/balding, fat with beer gut, smell like a burning garbage type (even after taking a shower).

And for some, if you are not lighter skin coloured, don't look like the "mainstream" type, or having thick, rusty accents, you can get double-whammy treatment....low mileage that is.

The only difference between the "civilians" and the "pros" in these situation will be not all of the "civilians" will entertain you even you have the dough. The pros on the other hand will entertain you and take whatever BS or phony stuffs you put on...when the price is right.

You will get "bonus" mileage if you look like,

1) firefighter with chisled body, aka beef cake, six packs or what not. Wearing firefighting uniforms help even more.

2) musclehead like the Rock, Goldberg or Brock Lesnar. Giant type like the Big Show will backfire though.

3) John Edwards

You will get no mileage no matter how good chemistry or cleaniness you claim or really have if you look like,

a) computer geek, nerdy type wearing glasses and talk nothing but technical computer terms, tibits or being a Jeopardy fan

b) fat, out of shape dude in general

c) Dubya or Kerry :D

BTW, when it comes to superficial attitude, women are equally worse, if not the worst than men.

Let me get this straight sweet guy because I would hate to ruin all those sweeping generalizations of yours. All I have to do is THINK I look like all those people in the categories you mentioned and I will get extra mileage?

Let me clarify this, it should be you will get a "bonus" mileage if you look like.

It's just simply an oversight. Otherwise it won't make sense.

Actually... the answer, surprisingly enough is yes. You should always think of yourself as being better looking than you actually are. Be delusional, have an ego - after all, why not?? It's all about self portrayal and how you come across to others.

If you project a positive self image, are confident, well mannered etc. people will see you as being more attractive. Whether you actually are or not is irrelevent. In short, it's about perception.
