Damn! This game was winnable. This was the Pittsburg "B" team (no Crosby or Malkin). Anyway, we gain 1 point on Carolina.

Forget this season, guys. Leafs could have moved to 2 points of Carolina this weekend but failed. Its defensive plays were awful in both games. They were out-muscled, out-speeded and were lucky to have got the one point in each of the 2 games.

Burke kept saying his blueprint was to build the contender from the defense out, but it is getting nowhere after numerous aquisitions, purges and trades - despite spending millions more.

I felt like he has gone full circle from what the Leafs were when he tolok over - at least on the defence.

Yes the biggest hurdle.....is the Hurricanes Buffalo head to heads.....minimum 6 points....possible 9 to one of those teams.....HUGE!~!!!!!

Not to mention...the leafs wanna play those teams too.....BUT...they are 4 point games....so MUST WINS...for both Buffalo/Hurricanes/Toronto.

Huge pressure on all down the stretch!!!

One team may get 6 anfd the other 3 if the same team wins each game in OT or SO but no one team will get 9 points from 3 games. or am I missing something?
