I think it might because smoking reduces your life span and therefore you won't be a drain on the system as long.
I'd say user fees and taxes for cars and gasoline don't pay for their damage to society, but you don't hear about making them illegal.
Smoking will shorten your lifespan but individuals can also incur huge costs for treatment while they're alive.
Make cars illegal? What a ridiculous idea! Besides, I didn't say make smoking illegal, just reduce the nicotine levels to zero.
I have tried a few times. Havent enjoy it each time i did tried. I couldnt understand why people like these stuff. It taste disgusting as it smells.
As far as addiction goes. Its all mental. If you have the will to do it, its easy to quit. If cigarettes were banned one day, people will have no trouble quitting.
