Value Village is flying under the radar for most people by offering a few pennies to the Canadian Diabetes Association for use of their logo/name. VV is an American owned for-profit company. I definitely do not donate anything to them, but I see them out-hustling the local real charities. They seem to like locating across the street from the real charities.

I give my used clothing to Canadian Diabetes and Cystic Fibrosis and they pick up at my door. Are you saying there is some connection between VV and the charities?

Cheapening the concept of charity

VV is a for-profit american company. They will say it is for charity and pick up at your door. They are very shrewed and saying it is for charity is not a total lie, and yes there is a connection whereby they rent the name of some bottom feeding charity (which the Canadian Diabeties Association is) and then collect things from well-meaning people. Good in a way as it diverts some material from landfill, but it does cheapen the idea of charity.

I discard my underpants once they are stained by
my nocturnal emission. Any charity would want them?

Doesn't it seem strange to care what happens to something you were close to putting in the garbage anyways?

If people are profiting at least your garbage is supplying jobs.

I've only managed to kill designer shit like Versace etc. Both because I wore it more often and because quality was shit notwithstanding the price.

IRIS don't forget to send a garbage bag of thongs
That was a really disgusting comment Mr.Lucky.
Maybe they poor, but they have pride and good heart. I never want to hurt their pride that's why I never send used underwear or socks for them.
If I'm misunderstood you and you just try to be a funny guy, just leave a smiley face next time after your comment!
