I'm an Sp and its not work for me (apart from seeing what time my boss posts that I am available lol) I enjoy reading what you guys talk about and find the posts interesting and informative not so happy if a colleague gets trashed in a review though.Find some of the reviews a bit too much and wonder if some of you guys realise we have feelings too and are reading them and if we work for an agency dont always have the chance to defend ourselves

In my opinion, I think the girls post here for both work and enjoyment.. having a good relationship with the online community is just one of many ways to generate more business.

Personally I've never booked with an SP, but I still enjoy coming on here for a good read, or a good laugh.

I've seen agencies go to bat for their ladies. I've also seen SPs from agencies defend themselves.

And yes, some of us if not more know that all of you have feelings.

I came here for fun. I can be myself here, make dirty jokes and what not. Heck I do not work in TO. I am a Montreal girl.

On the Mtl board I have to be a bit more careful lest the mods think I am trying to promote myself when I am just sticking my 2 cents in. (When you get to know me I can be quite opinionated)

SPing can be a lonely business. A great many people would judge a girl just because she is an SP never mind if she is honest, or compassionate, or a good listener, or intelligent, has a good sense of humor or whatever other qualities she might have. Many simply automatically judge her based on what she does and not who she is.

I agree with JohnFK, it can and ought to be both. (and it's not just the females that do business promotion here)


As far as the question and answers go though, you can't scream money grubbing wh..re when someone is honest and answers a direct question honestly. (or tongue in cheek)

If your sensitivety is that high then don't ask or don't read the answer. The ire raised in response to some of the female poster's answers was naive and childish at best, disrespectful and hateful at worst.

I am glad some of the more rational members seem to have reeled this back in from flameland.

Better poll question....if you could somehow find a way to be on a board and make money from interacting on it...would you?

I started lurking to see what was being said, then I started to enjoy some of the posts, and giggling, then I started posting....got the initiation of all the cracks and beatings, and accusations of shills, and now, I just plain enjoy it.
