Like when I go to work, I sit in my office cube and watch the clock.
Do you think they have the same feeling towards replying to our threads and answering our constant PM's that ever so frequently fill up their inbox?

It is not part of their job to post here, so I'd say most come here for the reasons we do....to chat/laugh/check out debates and reviews...and to see if DrLove ends up having sex with the girl he wants to be FWB with.

I was surprised when Angela said she was leaving the board due to retiring as a SP. She can still chat on the board - some male members don't see SP's and they still come here. Guys who post that they are retiring from the hobby: OK, fine, but does that prevent you from ever checking out the board? Is there a rule that says yo have to see an SP at least once a month to be allowed to log in to Terb lol

In my mind yes! But I have the feeling that some people here do not have the same opinion as me and actually think these girls give a fuck about these threads and care to respond to their pm's for any other reason to make money.

Obviously you are not going to get paid per post, but rather use it as a marketing ploy to familiarize yourself with terb members in hope they find a connection with you so you can suck them into comming to see you in the club.

I saw Joy at the club once. She is quite nice and I enjoyed seeing her. I don't go to clubs anymore in Toronto (I see SP's mainly, and MP's occassionally), but if I did still go to clubs I would have gone to Joy's club more.

Agree with Alex, I never would have seen Gen if she wasn't on terb. Thank God as she is in my top 5 encounters ever and I've had many. So is Gen or others here to be seen and heard to promote themselves. Hope so, would they be on Terb if they weren't good at what they do, No way. But I am sure they enjoy the stupid humour that goes around here.

Another good point point, Angela retired and no longer on terb. It is work guys.

OK. I thought the question was too asinine to give it a proper reply, but since my sarcasm always gets lost on some, here's what I wrote on the topic in another thread (discussing reviews and NRP). Yes, I'm quoting myself:

Having a NRP is one option, and I totally understand the girls who decide to have a NRP.

I decided against a NRP, and chose instead to become involved on the board. In addition to being my main source of entertainment/procrastination, being an active member here accomplishes two main purposes:

1) It gives potential clients an opportunity to know a little more the person behind the fantasy. Some clients don't care about it, but some do, and I tend to have a better time with the ones who do. Working with an agency, Terb is the only way for me to interact with potential clients before I meet them in person -- although I suspect that many choose to follow Strongbeau's Fight Club rule and not to reveal our previous interaction on Terb, which is perfectly fine by me.

2) By being an active member here, I'm also hoping that clients who choose to write a review will be a little more careful about how they write their review. I don't want to censor the reviewing process nor prevent anyone from writing a critical review -- which is also why I usually don't comment on review threads about me, whether good or bad -- but I do want the reviewer to be mindful that there is a breathing and feeling human being behind the SP he is reviewing.

So, is this work? To a extent yes. Obviously, if I wasn't in the biz, I would not be posting here.

But as smylee's comment should also make clear, there's more to my presence here than merely work.

Mockery? The funny thing is I can come into whatever club your at and pay you to do whatever I want, now that is mockery.
