I've never had unprotected sex (intercourse) with a civvy. This had lead to me turning down sex with a few really hot girls (and a few not so hot, lol) over the years. Furthermore I can't believe how many girls who said I didn't need to wear a condom. The number of times I've heard "don't worry baby, just fuck me" is alarming. All that would do is make me wonder how many other guys they fucked bareback. I've even turned down protected sex with girls who told me they've had warts or herpes in the past but were symptom free. To me the sex wouldn't have been worth the risk.

I've only gone bareback with girls I've been in a relationship with and only after we both went to our doctors to get tested for STI's including HIV. We'd get to a point where she was on another form of birth control and we didn't want to use condoms anymore. I'd say lets go get tested, and that I'm 99.9% sure I'm clean as I've always used condoms but I'd feel better being safe than sorry. I think they respected me for that and always agreed.

While that might be true (I haven't bothered to check the validity...), it is well documented that getting AIDS through normal male/ female penis in vaginal sex is very rare, do you really wanna take that chance of being that one in a million chance of getting it? Not I, that's for sure! :hand:

Condoms are just another safety device like seatbelts, air bags, life vests, even insurance and they only work when you're using them properly. Many people use them regularly and nothing ever happens to them, but there is always the chance (however small) that something will happen.

Knowing that there's so many apparently reckless civvies out there, means that putting the coat on is that much more important. Obviously, if you want to have kids then that's a whole different story.

While this is true, there are a significant number of things that you can get, which while they might not kill you, are very fucking un-fun to have. I have fucked a lot of women over the years, and so far I believe that I have not contracted herpes, syphilis, etc., and I'd like to keep it that way. I credit the fact that I use condoms with everyone, outside of true long term relationships.

One of the things I don't want to get is a paternity suit. Just because she says she is on birth control does not mean she is smart enough to take the pills on schedule.
