I thought this would make a great conversation piece.
I understand hearing from several MAs that they get bombarded with DMs on their BS or X accounts. Unfortunately some of us good clients get probably dumped amongst all those creepy messages they get and even some harassments. Sometimes I get replies and sometimes (a lot of times) no replies. Even a get well soon message or a thank you for the wonderful session gets me no response. I know they don't want nor have the time to get into a long back and forth discussion, but a simple acknowledgement goes a long way.
I'm especially looking forward to hearing from all you lovely ladies out there providing your services.

Just posting a short review on here as a client attracts all kinds of DMs with fairly explicit questions asking for more details. I can’t imagine the volume of DMs and the kinds of questions providers get on a daily basis.

But yeah, it is sometimes disappointing not to get a reply to a quick message if you’re a regular. But I get it too.

They cant acknowledge what you're saying on some platforms

They're not being rude. They just can't acknowledge what you're saying with a ten foot pole or they could lose their account.

When people message me on instagram or another platform I say

"Sorry I dont know what you're talking about because that's against the rules of Instagram but you can text me at ××× ××× ××××"

I don't know how blue sky works but definitely X is picky and Instagram is ok but I have to be very careful about what I say on any platform.

Also they don't know who you are , you could be someone fishing for information.

Online platforms are not necessarily a safe space for sex workers and people can make fake accounts to lure us into admitting things like where we work or other personal details about ourselves that can be used against us later.

I remember there being a trend of people harassing sex workers pretending to be tax men or doxxing them.

Ultimately it's not worth having our accounts deleted to acknowledge a positive response.

They probably get an overwhelming number of responses and generally social media people are just looking for free chats and attention but if I got a message like that , I wouldn't respond to it because I wouldn't want my account to get deleted. At any point even a website that currently allows those conversations could change their rules and that conversation could be used against me later and have my account shut down

La la land
This is the goto page that people should be sent to if they ask this question or need to know the DECORUM of social media. I notice people have no idea how to speak what to say in a bus or social media DM's.

It's like people become silly when doing DM's not even a hello anymore.

I've pretty well given up with X. A lot of accounts get suspended but I'm thinking it's more from provocative images then explicit posts or replies. We all see these all the time on X and BS but they keep posting and they don't get shut down. I'm thinking those are premium accounts and when $$$ is coming in, they won't shut them down. However DMs are private conversations and should be allowed, it's not public. I don't mind texting to private numbers but only if they offer it. However I don't want these texts popping up on my phone and my car dashboard screen.
