There is no P4 hack yet. It will probably not happen for quite a long time.
As for ExpressVu... can be done but it is illegal in Canada unlike the grey area surrounding DTV. If you really want info, check out the Echostar newsgroup.
Did you know that you can use your DTV dish for the DISH Network? Need a blackbird receiver though. Bonus - no cards to hack.

all over the net and they are a pain in the ass, and remember you have tons of channels but no channel guides for anything, a real pain in the ass, and they still do het hit just like the cards, so you have to weigh the pros and consshack said:

first off your better off with dishnet than the black bird, you do not get football with the black bird or with dishnet, and every couple months you have to take your blackbird in to get fixed cause you keep losing channels.

if there is any progress in regards to the p4 hack? With football season beginning today and basketball coming it could be quite painful without my sport fix. Bottom line is there anyone out there that knows anything that can be done and please share some options that all directv owners can do to regain programming. Thanks guys.

first of all , let me explain some answers for everyone here...
1) can i get nfl package with expressvue? yes, but not with a hacked card since they broadcast NFL package in Nagravision2 which is the latest bell and dish technology.Second its illegal to obtain or even talk about hack cards in Canada, so watch out...
Dishnet has over 150 local cities that you can get local channels from and they will show local sports teams, so u can pretty much watch every single nlf game...so your answer is to get Dishnet or blackbird-aka-fortec-aka-pansat
2) Blackbird or FTA DO NOT get Direct tv , they get Dishnet which has basically the same direct tv channels , same everything but diff satellite 110 and 119.
You can get a Fortec or Pansat for $370 instead of payin $500 for blackbird, which in turn will prefomr the same shit.
You can get dishnet for $370 wihich will give u a new system instead of payin 125 for direct tv or waitin for4ever for a hack which in fact will probably never come...
