Digital Radio (DAB)?

I was just thinking (for no apparent reason mind you) that Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) in Canada started with so much promise a couple of years back, but then never really took off. Now people have their choice of satellite radio and via iTunes and other players, internet radio at home / in the office.

Does anyone know if radio stations in Canada still broadcast digitally? Or is the format well and truly dead?

I was involved in the early marketing of DAB..I think it's pretty much gone by the wayside as SAt radio came in. Haven't heard anything about it for more than a year.
