And now his debut album gets pushed to a July release, and suddenly there’s another lead single tribute song “I’ll be missing you.” He had it ready in record time and sampled without permission. Very bizarre. Like he had the idea for the song prior and thought it would make a great tribute. And in the middle of all of this happening is the release of Notorious B.I.G.‘s second album “life after death” and Hypnotize goes straight to number one. Puff Daddy owned everything and he benefitted from everything.

I really don’t care what anybody says against the inside knowledge Puff Daddy probably had the night Biggie was killed. It was his idea to go to LA. They had no business in Los Angeles, especially at that time it was just really bad timing. In my opinion it was a power move to put Notorious B.I.G. in the line of fire. Diddy and his tap dancing in the rain performance of that song at the Grammys. Omg. Ya right.

I saw some interview on some stage with him from just last year. Must’ve been just months before the Cassie lawsuit. Definitely a humungous difference from 20 years ago. If you watch him on Conan O’Brien from 20 years ago, he was serious and arrogant. A music industry bad ass attitude. Another thing to consider, they were getting so many threats. threatening phone calls etc. etc.… they had no reason to be there at that time. They were all aware of the tension and Puff Daddy insisted on promoting Notorious B.I.G.’s new album in Los Angeles. There are people out there that question Puff Daddy being involved in someway, but I’m surprised there’s not more of them that question him. The entire team was getting so many threatening phone calls it was no secret that they were pissing people off being there.

I also love Aaliyah and she was affiliated with them. I also feel like after the R.Kelly fiasco, Aaliyah would have signed with Undeas if Biggie was still alive. I feel saddened that we missed out on so much fantastic music when Biggie died. Both from him and his new label.

It is not naïve to think this Diddy devil of a human being made a sacrifice and sold his soul for stardom. Notorious B.I.G. dies, and Diddy steps into the spotlight. For you to believe that that was completely natural, shows that you are naïve. A shrewd businessman took complete advantage of that situation and set it up so the chips can fall where they did with Mase by his side.
