I can hit a Toonie with any of my rifles at 100 yards, not the center but at least a piece of it, I am no expert marksman.
At a range of 130 yards, to hit an earlobe, would be like hitting a Toonie dead center, add to this the target is moving around as Trump talks.
The counter sniper took the shot from between 100-130 yards at a target the size of a small pumpkin hitting him pretty much dead center just below the left nostril.
(That is my own assement of the entry point from the pictures I have seen, nothing has been releaseed on the shooters injuries, other than he was shot in the head blowing the back of the skull out.)

Trained marksman with a scope and a rest and probably custom ammunition.

I am still boggled that the rooftop the perp shot from wasn't secured ahead of time and kept secure!

Trump was one of the first to say it was a bullet.

The only photos that showed anything that could have been a teleprompter looked like the two on either side of the stage were still complete.
It could have been something else glass that shattered, that makes way more sense than bullet damage.

It is sad the press is so afraid of Trump's howler monkeys that they won't ask for details and are letting a known bullshitter just run with whatever he wants to make himself look good.
He did get shot at, it isn't like finding out the details is going to invalidate that.

The strongest evidence that he wasn't hit by a bullet is that Trump won't release the medical records.
I suppose he thinks it fucks with his narrative if it turns out he was just damaged by the fly by or hit by some debris.
Which is stupid, since it doesn't change that he was shot at.
But I guess he and his people want to run with "He took a bullet for you" and so on.
