I know feminists would like you to think there are no differences between men and women.
What men predominantly look for is beauty and youth. Women are more fit and beautiful in their youth than middle age.
What women predominantly look for is status and wealth. Young men in general have not yet established status or wealth.
Hence why you have more wealthy men dating much younger women becuause they both have what each other are looking for.
The pool of young women who want these types of relationships is larger than the pool of young men looking for this.

There are so many differences. Here's a few factors to consider.
It's easier for a middle-aged man to handle a 19 year-old female that wants to party, drink, and sun tan all day than it is for a middle-aged woman to handle a testosterone fueled 19 year-old stud that's much bigger and stronger than her, wants to fuck, party, hit the gym, and play sports all day.
It's easy for an older man to take the lead in everything when he's with a younger female than it is for an older woman to take the lead when it comes to a younger man. Men are naturally more aggressive, larger, and this is what women find attractive yet it's what makes this particular type of relationship that much harder to execute. She has to find a stud that's characteristically masculine yet simultaneously docile enough to let her to lead him, because he's 19 with little life experience, and likely very immature. It happens just not as frequently.
Older men can typically tolerate immaturity from their smaller weaker younger companion, but older women get annoyed by it from their physically imposing horny companions much quicker.
Genuine sexual attraction doesn't have to exist for the first couple because the female can just lay back and pretend (i.e. fake it like 99.9% of SPs do during sessions), but it does to some degree for the other couple because the young stud has to get hard in order to perform.
The dynamics involved are very different between men and women in relationships.

I would take this excellent point a little further. It isn't so much that men tolerate the immaturity of their younger companion; men tend to retain more of the boyish playfulness as they get older. Women just get more serious as they age. Remember, they were already more serious as school children. It was always the boys that were - for the most part - causing the disruptions in class. As long as an aging man isn't plagued by injuries, debilitating health problems, some kind of depressive disorder, they tend to remain playful as they age. (This forum is living proof the retarded maturity of most men. I call it playfulness.) Women just get more serious, and sadly, less fun to be around; just look at how they [the veterans] respond in this forum, for example. (Yes, the onset of menopause and menopause itself play a major role in why women get so serious as they age.)
