Desparatly need help

Had just been found out by my wife of the transactions for the chat line I paid for on the credit card bill;which fortunately under a discreet company name. That raise her suspicious already and I need to find out and convince her thats not my transaction.

Any suggestions and help is appreicated.

can't be done. I find it best to say it was something bad but not that bad.
i.e if you saw a callgirl, say you went to a strip club.
if you went to a strip club, say you went to a casino

If you were paying for a chat, I would suggest you bought internet porn because a chat line is a relationship and to women that's generally worse than looking at naked women.

If you purchased over the phone and did not sign anything then yes you can have the charges reversed. Basically you will have to lie to them though. Just call and deny making that purchase. They have to reverse it.

I agree. Next solution is to get a CC and use another address so that it doesn't show up at home.

Just ignor it..

I have found that if I just ignor questions regarding cc charges or absent money, my S/O usually doesn't make a big deal about it. Most of the time I just tell her I was on the net, I got scammed, won't do it again, and how could they do that to me..

It works 90% of the time. A weekend away also makes her forget..
