Decent Hotels?

From what I understand it is legal to hire sp's in Windsor as long as they come to your location? Therefore I would like to get a room while I am there but I have no idea what is nice. I would like something in a decent area and in terms of price I was looking to spend about $50-60 US. This would be on a Sunday or Monday so I would assume the rates to be cheaper but if I have to pay a little more than 50-60 that is ok.

Hi myimage,
There a few short rate motels on Huron Church Road, which is the road you are on when you get off the bridge. The nicer ones are the Ecnolodge and the Royal Windsor. There is also the Kenora and the Bestway, but are not as nice. I hope this helps you out abit and you enjoy your trip to Windsor.

ulysses is certainly right about Kenora and Bestway, complete holes, but they have short stay. I hear of guys from the U.S. getting river view rooms at the Hilton for $50 U.S. from Priceline and other online booking agents like that. Hotwire is another I think. Probably your best way to go.

I just wanted to say thanks for the information. I'm not into the short stay hotels so those are out. Plus I definitely believe in treating a person with respect and to me having a decent location is a must. I won't have a suite or anything but something clean and nice is a good thing.

There's a couple of Travelodge hotels in town too. One of them is on the way into Windsor near the Kenora and Econolodge.

I'm not sure that the "incall" part of the above statement is quite accurate.

While the Bestway and Kenora are short stay, fit your budget. I would suggest the Super 8 on Huron Church Road that fits your budget.

Yes, the SP's in Windsor are licensed and it's legal and legal does have a definition that I'm not the one to express or tell you where you can go for the actual written law.
