Dear Terbites: Would you like to see a new Strip Bar Discussion added to Ottawa?

Well not true exactly. Yes over half the people will be pissed off if the mods decide not to add the new strip bar section but only one-third will be possibly pissed if a new strip bar section is added. For confirmation of my claim please take a look at the poll results above. It is logical to assume those who don't care one way or another will not be upset one way or another.
No seriously I can't think of a reason why adding a new section would piss off anyone. Do not click on the new section of you don't wish to see it!!!!!!!! No reason to be upset about something you CHOOSE to click and see!!!!!!
Add, expand, generate (maybe not more money but more traffic, more posts, more memberships) bigger, growth, expansion they are all positive .........
I am sorry I absolutely have no idea what this is!!!!. It wasn't even remotely suggested any kind of seeking arrangements with anyone just a new section for strip bar related discussion and review threads and recommending deserving dancers who dance at the bar to every one's benefit like patrons knowing who and where to find the recommended and described dancer to their liking for a private dance IN THE BAR where is a legal public establishment monitored by security guards and bouncers and for dancers to possibly have more patrons to ask them for private dance again at the bar in the Champagne room.. I am myself very much against being in an exploitative relationship with anyone or taking advantage of anyone and what we are seeking is completely moral and strictly legal and a win-win-win situation for both dancers at the strip bars and patrons here and the board.
ps - I set the poll for 10 days which means it has another 4-5 days to go but if you wish to close it early then I have no problem with that as they say leave the race while you are AHEAD

You're way too invested in this. I also think it's a bit rich to claim superior morality in seeing strippers over MAs and SPs. I've spent quite a few hours in clubs over the years and it's way sketchier than seeing established providers, especially when you consider how many of the dancers are drunk and/or stoned. Not to mention that the extras being offered by so many of them are much more likely to attract the wrong kind of attention, and that technically any kind of physical contact with dancers violates Ottawa bylaws.Well not true exactly. Please also read what was responded to before reaching conclusions. The superior morality was claimed in comparison to taking advantages of sugar babies. In other words I was referring to the Review of strip bar and dancer activities IF a new section is granted being both moral and legal as opposed to the sticker on seeking arrangement, but the moral part came when I read the comment that by my understanding (which I may have misunderstood) the activity or section was resembled to seeking arrangement in which the sticker describes it as taking advantage of people which is clearly immoral.

Those that counsel or encourage Sugar Daddies to take advantage of Sugar Babies will have their posts deleted, and risk having their membership on this board revoked without explanation.
I am not encouraging seeking arrangement with dancers but seeing them at the club only and recommending the deserving ones..
Those that I see are not among drunk or stoned or offer extras. I mainly frequent Barbarellas where there are even cameras in the Champagne rooms to protect dancers and ensure no illegal activities. Even at other bars I don't take extras and have turned down offers and never saw the dancer again. So those who will be recommended are not among sketchy ones you described.
As for me way invested in this, then please refer to my reasons in post #60 as why I am investing so much time on something that has no personal benefit for me whatsoever.
Btw, the latest poll result - there is a clear MAJORITY for the YES side who wish to have a new strip bar section on Ottawa board overtaking the No side and don't care side combined and much higher than no side who as I said do not have to click on new section. I hope terb memberships' wish for a new strip bar section is taken into account when a decision is made this afternoon by terb admin. After all it is the membership who makes the board and the admin runs it. Lets prove that we are different to the other dictatorial discriminatory biased board on which male members worth nothing and treated like s**t.

The way I see it, the 'Don't care' votes should count as no votes, so we have 33 yes and 31 no votes!
It's not dictatorial, its a business and not a democracy and and I think the more you repeat and repeat the same points over and over the more chance that there won't be a SC section here.

H&K has done this historically under the other handles he's used on Terb before this last one. Nothing new here, same old same old.
Yes I may have overdone it as a former friend of mine told me so in a PM. I am sorry. Though you guys don't seem familiar with campaigning styles for a goal or policy or party lol. This is how Trudeau became the PM (remember Sunny days ahead message we heard a thousand times) and many other examples and many before him and Quebec referendum and many lost too and quit politics altogether. You campaign for what you believe is right or best for the country or board or community or school or union ..... and try to convince other people with messages sometimes repeating same messages to vote with your policies or ideas. They repeat the same message many times over to get it across and when they won they celebrated and when they lost they accepted defeat and some quit politics. This is a campaign.
As mentioned the decision is with the mods. And to make some people happy I won't be posting until a decision is made but please don't allow your opposition to me and my current conservative views on seeing escorts and backpages to affect your decision on the strip bar section for God's sake. And I am happy that so many increasing number of people have expressed a Yes to have a strip bar section and hence I am happy regardless of final decision. I do hope however that the mods wait until poll closes in 5 days to see the final results and comments before making a decision.
Again I apologize if I offended anyone or campaigned too hard. It wasn't my intention to offend anyone.
Since we are on the topic of improvements what about if we just had one Sticky that said before you post you must read and understand the rules and then have all the sticky notes highlighted in the Full Rule page.
You're assuming people read the rules at all. Believe me, many former members did not.

Glad to see you started a thread about an SC, bobbiz. If a designated section is not created, I guess this is the best way to go - just choose either the 411 or review section and explicitly title the thread so it is easily identified as an SC-related thread. I've been avoiding posting (except in this thread) until the decision is made, but I'll contribute to your Barb's thread when appropriate. I've always felt that it's important to post mostly when one has info or a report to share and I've tried to avoid too many info requests until becoming more established as a poster who provides info/reports as opposed to only asking for info.
Meanwhile, we await a decision. Seems like the scotch went down easier than the decision-making process progressed. Or maybe the booze smoothed things over.
