And yet when he makes fun of your orange clown you whine like a Karen about how biased Jon Stewart is.

Now that quips something that supports your world view you're lovin' him!
That's not true. While I'm happy to mock Biden I have never defended how Trump looks. He stumps around hunched over with with a grumpy old man look, about to wipe his finger on the mantle to check for dust, just so he can yell at someone. Or feeling like he would rather be somewhere else.

The makeup is ridiculous. He cuts suits to hide his obesity. The hair is legendary.

Feel free to mock Trump at your leisure, and don't mistake me for other posters.

Who is this "they"?

Do "they" still meet in the basement of the pizza parlour with no basement? Or is the cabal that meets in some cave in the Swiss Alps?

And why wouldn't "they" let him? It's a normal part of American democracy. AFAIK, Trump is the only Presidential candidate who has chickened out of debates. He's the only yellow orange bellied coward that ever ran for President. Did his bone spurs act up again in the Republican Primary debates?
Did Biden's during the lack of primaries for the Dems?

But you atre correct in that no one would "tell" the President not to debate. He was going out. And at this point though a Biden refusal probably would have been better.
They could have deflected rumors of his decline by not doing it but it was up there for all to see, and enough footage for commercials to last the entire campaign.

The pressure is on now.

That is the point my friend. Biden is NOT running the country. He is leading it and trying to implement policies he feels are important to the country and world. Even his Secretary's of State, Transportation, Armed Services etc are not "running" the Departments. They implement policies and laws by letting the paid, professional civil servants "run the country".

And Biden is not any laughing stock except of you deranged celebrity Demagogue worshipping cultists.

Thinking people don't mock people for aging.

I will tell you this from personal, first hand experience in Europe. The common European man thinks the Americans are even more laughable for the fact that they elected such an incompetent, lying asshole. Anyone who is not enthralled by an emotional crush on his celebrity character can recognize it in a few moments.
Shlong, you and I know the Presidency is always the focal point of the state of the Nation. Partially because they make it so. If you are going to use terms like Bidenomics you can't backtrack when it backfires.

As well the President does have a lot of power when it comes to gun boat diplomacy. So any wars the USA is involved in he is the Comnander in Chief. And the notion of "the buck stops here" was Initiated in the WH and continues to this day

That is what most voters believe. And it matters.

Watching Joe Biden in the debate he reminded me of my mother, who was 80 when her dementia first became apparent. She was at a similar stage as what we saw in the debate.

Two years later she had gotten to the point where we had to move her from her home, where she had 24 hour caregivers, into a special dementia floor high-end retirement home, with specialized and dementia trained caregivers, and keypad controlled locked floor entrance and exit doors.

Her dementia continuously progressed through the next 3 years to the point that she could no longer recognize us or carry on a coherent conversation.

Even if Joe isn't at that point today, how will he be through the next 4 and a half years?
I'm sorry you experienced that. To watch the person who raised and cared for you disintegrate like that would be very hard. I lost both my parents to cancer and that was a horror show that still scares the hell out of me.

But if you don't mind, I have a question. Looking at Biden, he is clearly easily confused and as a layman, it appears to me that he is suffering from dementia. Based on your experience, how long before he is at a point where he can no longer function?

I ask because I have read that the descent into dementia actually accelerates. That it's an exponential decay rather than a straight line. In other words, it won't be long for Biden until he is incapacitated.

The problem is none of the world respects Biden. I was watching a Piers Morgan you tube video, last night. Piers knows Trump very well, and says that Trump is totally unpredictable. Trump can be the nicest guy, or the biggest asshole. That's why world leaders are afraid of Trump. Trump is totally unpredictable. Nobody knows what Trump will do next??

IMHO, all Presidents have to be narcissists to some extent!!
That's the problem with other "World leaders".

They are so stupid that they take a guy like Trump seriously. Trump has the attention span of a turnip. That's why he speaks like an idiot. He can't remember what his point was 2 minutes ago and so he's all over the map and anyone with half a brain who listens to trump just goes, "what the fuck is he going on a about?"

Yet other "world leaders" shit their pants. Fuck man, Trump won't even remember what he said 5 minutes after he said it. Biden may have dementia, but Trump has the stupid and that's actually way worse.

I did not watch the debate. I readily admit that. I didn't watch it because I I knew it was going to be a gong show. Any time Trump speaks, it's a fucking circus at the best of times. Always has been, always will be.

The last election America had featuring 2 actual human beings vying for office was Obama / Romney. Since then, it's been a shit show and the one common denominator has been the orange primate. (With sincere apologies to all my actual simian friends out there. Come to think of it, an Orangutan would make a better POTUS than Trump. At least an Orangutan will have a moral compass.)

But I did catch 2 highlights from the debate. One on youtube and the other on Bill Maher. Which was more than enough for me to come to the conclusion that Biden is no longer fit for the office. The Dems often joke that Biden has often gaffed in his words. "Oh, that's just Joe". No, no this wasn't that. This is old age feebleness at best and dementia at worst. Either way, Joe needs to call it a day and let the Dems have an open convention like the good old days. For the sake of the country Joe, please do this one last thing.

I no longer blame
@POTUS
Biden for not stepping aside. He no longer has the mental acuity to make important judgments about himself. It is becoming increasingly clear however that the fault lies with
@FLOTUS
Jill Biden. FL Jill Biden becomes irrelevant the moment her husband is no longer president. No more Air Force One. No more glamorous life. No more White House dinners for dignitaries. No more being treated like a queen when traveling the world. I am sorry to be harsh, but what has become entirely clear is that the First Lady values what is best for herself over her husband’s health and the safety and security of the country at large. Stress is a contributor to neurological deterioration and the doctors must have told her so. Think about how much stress she is putting Biden under by making him continue. Now in public appearances she treats him like an infant (‘You answered every question!’) or an old man as she walks him off the stage. And she gets the crowd wound up and cheering at events. Perhaps she thinks the crowd is cheering for her. Her power has clearly grown as he gets weaker. And she likes the feeling of power. She speaks for the president when he can’t or when he is napping. She tells his team and staff when he is available, and when he is not. She likes being in control. We all do. Which begs the question, how many decisions of the president are actually made by the FL? Her ‘friends’ likely don’t tell her the truth as they want to continue to be invited to the White House and to be able to say that they are friends with the FL and the president. Jill Biden is destroying her own legacy along with the president’s. The whole thing would just be a tragedy for the Biden family if it didn’t put the country at greater risk in a world in turmoil. Perhaps she didn’t understand what ‘in sickness and in health’ meant.

Biden should make use of the SCOTUS ruling and do away with half of the bench, hire a series of special prosecutors to look at their finances, set up more special prosecutors on rump and his team and then announce he's not running.

Do the dirty work to clean up the SCOTUS mess and the resign and take the blame.

It's the sign of a general decline in the quality of public life. Back in the 20th Century, parties took some pride in choosing accomplished men as party leader and for cabinet posts and in keeping the level of debate at a sophisticated level. Especially over the last 10 or 15 years, this has ended.

It's now the era of Justin the drama teacher, PeePee the low level party office hack cum "leader", Trump the reality show host and a host of other flotsam who would not be qualified to run a small town law practice in real life. Andrew Scheer is so stupid that he cannot successfully qualify as a fucking insurance salesman. No matter, Andy. You can lead the national Tory party. Boris Johnson is an obese, nepotistic class clown with the IQ of a turtle. That's okay. You can be PM of the UK. Rishi Sunak has no apparent qualifications except a multi billionaire father. That's just fine. You can be UK PM too. Doug Ford is a moron who repeatedly embarrassed himself as a city councillor. No prob. You can be PM of a province with 15M people.

These people are unable to solve any real problems and the businessmen who own them don't want the problems solved to begin with. So you get the rise of the "culture warrior" who distracts from his incompetence by ranting about how good it was in "the old days before the immigrants came". You get the ascendancy of the "flag fucker" who continually speeches about what a huge patriot he is. The woke "innovative thinker" who monologues about trans issues and native rights while doing nothing about a burgeoning housing and economic crisis.

It's all fucked!

Republican: Ronnie Reagan was one of the GOATs, Biden is senile and has to go
Democrat: Ronnie Reagan was going senile towards the end and should have been pushed out, but Biden, nah brah he is fine.

That being said, I'd rather a dottering old fool with bad policies to someone like Trump with the Treason and the child live vengefulness, the narcissistic tendencies that make him easily played by folks foreign and domestic with bad policies.
I mean remember what the Republicans or at least the more honest of them said about Bush 2. Sure the guy's an idiot, but he listens to advisors, I get the impression that even senile Biden has a few more years where he can be reasoned with, surround him with good people... you know the sorts that don't start a FUCKING INSURECTION and refuse to go or talk about encouraging nations to attack allies for not meeting suggested defense spending which is way in excess of what is needed for collective defense.

On the plus side, I'm with Trump with the destroying of the democratic institutions, means less work for when the Americans finally accept reason and put Willie in charge, assuming Chuck won't be alive by then.

Believe what you want to but these shows are ALL edited and assembled with a predetermined outcome and cast of characters. It is as easy to make the same person a hero or a villain in the Director's editing suite.
Whoa whoa whoa, wait up there. You mean in shows like love it or list it, they are not actually shocked over and over again when 100 year old homes has knob and tube wiring and asbestos, that they are just pretending to be shocked when it has happened for the 10th time which is why in every show they have to ask for more money. Next thing you will be telling me that a pawn store in real life wouldn't hire an incompetent like Chum and don't happen to have access to the greatest of experts [including an unbelievable cute book nerd] and that it is unlikely that the people at the desk would know so much about every obscure thing. Or that just about every profession is filled with dangerously incompetent people.

He said sarcastically.
