I used to think that people who use dating sites like Match, Plenty of Fish, OkCupid, etc. look for serious relationships. It turned out that many of them are in search of hookups. Why don't just use an escort service or choose sites for hookups?

Guess its easier to lie about what you're after.
If you have that happen to you on anywhere near a remotely often basis your dance card would be too fill to even consider online dating.
It happens to me about 2-3x a month, but usually at the wrong time, i.e. when I'm rushing to get somewhere and can't talk. Bad luck. Never anything verbal, just a glue-y eye contact/invitation to talk.
Online dating, never had any luck. I do need new photos, probably professionally done.
Feels nice to get attention from women but has no value, i.e. no sex, just bad luck.
Better to have been lusted after and lost than never to have been lusted after at all.
I've had female interest but not by total strangers and it wasn't really sexually based.
It's possible if you hang around in your age group. My problem is I easily get sexual attention but don't have the opportunity / places to get attention because I don't go out much (cold weather) or have a social life. If I walk around in parks, starbucks, timmy, shoppers drug mart, it works, but doesn't mean you'll get sex.
Man must work hard to get sex. So in the end, its' meaningless and I'm still on TERB.
I'd say people who get the most sex are those with busy social lifes or networks, they can meet many people somehow and get sex easily.
I was social as fuck in my 20's same age group. Never worked for me. People are different. YMMV. I am pretty much invisible, double plus so as a sexual being.

On the other hand, there are always those who look for a cheap way to have fun. In my opinion, it would be easier to use specialized sources like a private delight app, for example. But I guess, some guys just like messing with other people's heads.
