Don't go there! Repeat, don't go there! That's all you need to know.

(My friend went there and saw raw unedited war footage of mangled bloody bodies being uploaded to HQ. It has been bothering him ever since.)
If you want to see that and much worse, you can just go to:

No need for Dark Web.

Besides even if you get on it, I thought that it was location specific. Meaning, you have to know where to go and once you get there you need a password to get in.

And like others said, you might get unlucky and stumble into a place that's under surveillance for some reason. And you wouldn't even know it.

This really ain't that difficult. Burner laptop, public wifi.
I was going to recommend exactly that. Excellent suggestion!

Used laptops (on Kijiji are dirt cheap [make sure you pay cash, use fake name, and text app to get it], and public wifi is everywhere. (Doubt Starbucks turns off their wifi hotspot when they are closed.💡)

Just don't get sloppy and use the burner laptop from your home wifi or from your cellphone's hotspot. Your home IP will identify you in a split second.

It is really easy to be invisible. Just super easy to be sloppy.

Although this works, You'll be spending around $50-$100 to surf the Deep Web a couple of times.

If you are doing something "questionable", will need to look out for cameras.

And if you are using a text app, you messed up already. You need a cheap burner phone with prepaid.

You can be anonymous, but it's a lot of work.

There is no Dark Web. There is just the Internet. There are web sites that want to be found, and indexed, these can reached using tools like Google.

Then there web sites that you just need to know their direct address to navigate to them. They are not indexed. Most need credentials to access. These sites are not regulated and no one is checking them for viruses.

Think of it as the city with no addresses on the buildings on the “bad” side of town.
but like the city, the cops are watching what is happening, hoping to catch bad people doing bad things. You need to be anonymous and using throw away computers not because of the cops looking for you but because the beginner bad people like to play with tourists stuffing their computer with viruses, and reverse hacks to steal id’s etc. The lack of addresses means you need directions from someone that has been there before. You get that in chat. Without the direct referral you are going to get lost, your pockets will be picked, and by the time you realize you are lost your ID will be stolen and your house remortgaged.

Anyone stroll through the Dark Web. Have been reading up on all this stuff as of late and was wondering what your experience is related to that. I'm trying to find old/current certification exams that I can't find just searching through the regular web. I know its lame but thought I'd ask.

Sure that's why your looking into exploring the dark web.....
