So what?

Neely was a crazy, low life street person who was a little scary and annoying af. Doesn't mean his life has so little value that he can just be killed and thrown aside.
When your facts are always wrong and you're always on the wrong side of an issue (and history), you need to start asking yourself what your major malfunction is.

For a so-called lawyer, I don't think you've ever been right about a case discussed on TERB.

Maybe that little thing called ideology is clouding your worldview.

Maybe it's time to take off the radical leftist cap.

This case seems to have flipped some of the usual liberals in favor of Penny. BLM or anyone has not been be able to win a lot of hearts and minds on this case. It's too bad. They really need to be focusing on situations that are clearly aggressive and abusive behavior towards African-Americans.

If I was a juror that would exactly be the value that I would ascribe to his life 🤷‍♀️

Bro, you reek, pungently of utter abject bias and unflinching odorous ideology

Can you not smell yourself?

I guess the call from BLM to make trouble was ignored. The guy was arrested 62 times in a few years, where were they to help?

News Host *SHREDS* BLM Leader's Narrative that Daniel Penny is "Racist" NewsNation's Dan Abrams ripped apart BLM leader Chivona Newsom's argument that Daniel Penny is a "racist" in the wake of his acquittal by a Manhattan jury. "Well, I'll tell you what, I don't think this case would have been charged if it had been a white victim and a white person who had held him in a chokehold," Abrams argued at one point. "I don't even think there'd be charges in this case." "I think it actually would, and I actually think that you would be calling Daniel Penny a murderer," Newsom claimed. Newsom's race-baiting talking points get absolutely torn to smithereens. This is an uncomfortable watch but an important one for anyone who cares about the facts.

Sometimes I wonder if you're reading your statements before you click "post reply".
Neely was a scumbag that shouldn't be out on the streets. He was at the wrong place wrong time apparently for trying to commit another crime only to face an individual who's capable of imposing his will on him. Was there intention to kill the guy? probably not. He was a threat to everyone...This was a slamdunk case for Daniel to walk.

Why Bragg brought on this case in the first place, is beyond me??

Its because he's a Progressive. These types of people should not be near the levers of power in our system.

Five years ago Daniel might have been sent to the slammer. His reputation and life destroyed. He did a heroic thing but had the wrong skin colour and the legacy media's stranglehold on narratives drove people to extreme actions.

But times have changed.

Traditional media has lost its power and ongoing crime (including Third World migrant crime) throughout the city, has reminded New Yorkers what lawlessness looks like... they understood it well in the 70s, 80s, and 90s but the good times created by strong men made them easily forget it.

mandrill's headspace is stuck 5+ years ago when rioting and venerating crackheads was a thing.

Liberals: "Why didn't anyone do anything? He was threatening to kill everyone before he punched out that old lady killing her! If I was there I would have kicked his ass!"

Also Liberals: "Why did he jump in and defend those people? He's not a cop. The mentally deranged crackhead didn't deserve to be restrained just because he threatened to kill innocent people. Danny needs to be put in jail ASAP!"
